If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die,[ both] the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

“若遇见人与有丈夫的妇人行淫，就要将奸夫淫妇一并治死。这样，就把那恶从以色列中除掉。

“若发现有人与有夫之妇同寝，就要将奸夫淫妇一起处死。这样，你就把恶从以色列中除掉。

“若发现有人与有夫之妇同寝，就要将奸夫淫妇一起处死。这样，你就把恶从以色列中除掉。

“如果有人与有夫之妇通奸，必须处死奸夫和淫妇，这样就从以色列除掉了罪恶。

“如果发现有人和有夫之妇同寝，就要把奸夫淫妇二人都处死；这样，你就把那恶从以色列中除掉了。

『人若被發現和一個有了丈夫的婦人同寢，和那婦人同寢的那人、以及那婦人、他們二人都必須死；這樣，你就把那壞事從以色列中肅清了。

人與有夫之婦同寢、為人所見、則姦夫淫婦俱致之死、以除惡於以色列中、

有與他人之妻同寢、為人所見、則淫夫淫婦俱必被殺、如是絕惡於以色列族中。

人若與有夫之婦同寢、為人所見、則以二人、即姦夫淫婦、一併治死、知是、除惡於以色列人中、

If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

Suppose a man is seen sleeping with another man’s wife. Then the man and the woman must both die. Get rid of those evil people.

“ If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the woman must die. In this way, you will purge Israel of such evil.

“ If a man is discovered having sexual relations with another man’s wife, both the man who had sex with the woman and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die— the man that lay with the woman, and the woman; so you shall put away the evil from Israel.

If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both die, the man who lay with the woman and the woman. So you shall remove the evil from Israel.

And the man that committeth adultery with[ another] man’s wife,[ even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Marriage[ is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.

And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make[ thy] belly to swell, and[ thy] thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot[ them] out with the bitter water:And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her,[ and become] bitter.Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:And the priest shall take an handful of the offering,[ even] the memorial thereof, and burn[ it] upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass,[ that], if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her,[ and become] bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they[ are] adulteresses, and blood[ is] in their hands.For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.
