“ If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.

“如果有人与有夫之妇通奸，必须处死奸夫和淫妇，这样就从以色列除掉了罪恶。

『人若被發現和一個有了丈夫的婦人同寢，和那婦人同寢的那人、以及那婦人、他們二人都必須死；這樣，你就把那壞事從以色列中肅清了。

人與有夫之婦同寢、為人所見、則姦夫淫婦俱致之死、以除惡於以色列中、

有與他人之妻同寢、為人所見、則淫夫淫婦俱必被殺、如是絕惡於以色列族中。

人若與有夫之婦同寢、為人所見、則以二人、即姦夫淫婦、一併治死、知是、除惡於以色列人中、

If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

Suppose a man is seen sleeping with another man’s wife. Then the man and the woman must both die. Get rid of those evil people.

“ If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the woman must die. In this way, you will purge Israel of such evil.

“ If a man is discovered having sexual relations with another man’s wife, both the man who had sex with the woman and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is found sleeping with a married woman, then both of them shall die, the man who slept with the woman, and the woman; so you shall eliminate the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die— the man that lay with the woman, and the woman; so you shall put away the evil from Israel.

If a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is discovered having sexual relations with another man’s wife, both the man who had sex with the woman and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

If a man is caught having sexual relations with a married woman both the man who had relations with the woman and the woman herself must die; in this way you will purge evil from Israel.

“ If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

And I will judge you as women who commit adultery and shed blood are judged, and bring upon you the blood of wrath and jealousy.

May this water that brings the curse pass into your bowels and make your womb swell and your thigh fall away.’ And the woman shall say,‘ Amen, Amen.’“ Then the priest shall write these curses in a book and wash them off into the water of bitterness.And he shall make the woman drink the water of bitterness that brings the curse, and the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain.And the priest shall take the grain offering of jealousy out of the woman’s hand and shall wave the grain offering before the Lord and bring it to the altar.And the priest shall take a handful of the grain offering, as its memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water.And when he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and has broken faith with her husband, the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain, and her womb shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away, and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

they said to him,“ Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery.Now in the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?”

But righteous men shall pass judgment on them with the sentence of adulteresses, and with the sentence of women who shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is on their hands.”For thus says the Lord God:“ Bring up a vast host against them, and make them an object of terror and a plunder.And the host shall stone them and cut them down with their swords. They shall kill their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses.
