If you see your fellow Israelite’s ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to its owner.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s ox or sheep wandering away. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Instead, make sure you take it back to its owner.

「若遇見你仇敵的牛或驢迷了路，務必牽回來交給他。若看見恨你的人的驢被壓在重馱之下，不可走開，務要和他一同卸下驢的重馱。

你弟兄所失落的，無論是驢，衣服，或任何東西，你若發現，都要這樣做，不能避開。你若看見你弟兄的牛或驢在路上跌倒了，不可避開牠們，總要幫助他把牛或驢拉起來。

我的弟兄們，你們中間若有人迷失了真理而有人使他回轉，這人該知道，使一個罪人從迷途中回轉，會從死亡中把他的靈魂救回來，而且遮蓋許多的罪。

人被拉到死亡，你要解救；人將被殺，你須攔阻。

賙濟窮乏人的，不致缺乏；遮眼不看的，多受詛咒。

偶然有一個祭司從那條路下來，看見他就從另一邊過去了。又有一個利未人來到那裏，看見他，也照樣從另一邊過去了。

「你們中間誰有一百隻羊，失去其中的一隻，不把這九十九隻留在曠野，去找那失去的羊，直到找着呢？找到了，他就歡歡喜喜地把羊扛在肩上。他回到家裏，請朋友和鄰舍來，對他們說：『你們和我一同歡喜吧，我失去的羊已經找到了！』

失喪的，我必尋找；被逐的，我必領回；受傷的，我必包紮；有病的，我必醫治；只是肥的壯的，我要除滅；我必秉公牧養牠們。』

我要等候那轉臉不顧雅各家的耶和華，也要仰望他。

豈不是要你把食物分給飢餓的人，將流浪的窮人接到家中，見赤身的給他衣服遮體，而不隱藏自己避開你的骨肉嗎？

耶穌回答：「我奉差遣只到以色列家迷失的羊那裏去。」

瘦弱的，你們不調養；有病的，你們不醫治；受傷的，你們未包紮；被逐的，你們不去領回；失喪的，你們不尋找；卻用暴力嚴嚴地轄制牠們。

寧可往以色列家迷失的羊那裏去。

那人把兒女獻給摩洛，本地的百姓若假裝沒看見，不把他處死，

你們從前好像迷路的羊，如今卻歸回你們靈魂的牧人和監督了。

「一個人若有一百隻羊，其中一隻走迷了路，你們的意見如何？他豈不留下這九十九隻在山上，去找那隻迷路的羊嗎？若是找到了，我實在告訴你們，他為這一隻羊歡喜，比為那沒有迷路的九十九隻歡喜還大呢！
