If you see your fellow Israelite’s ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to its owner.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s ox or sheep wandering away. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Instead, make sure you take it back to its owner.

『若遇見你仇敵的牛或驢走迷了路，你總要牽回來給他。若看見恨你的人的驢伏在重馱之下，你休要放棄牠；總要和驢主一同幫助牠。

對他的驢、你要這樣行，對他的衣裳、你也要這樣行，對你的族弟兄所丟失的任何遺失物你遇見的、都要這樣行；不可掩面不顧。你看見你族弟兄的驢、或牛跌倒在路上、不可掩面不顧，總要和主人一同幫牠起來。

我的弟兄們，你們中間若有人失迷、離開了真理，而有人使他回轉過來，你們該知道，叫一個罪人從失迷路上回轉過來的、必拯救他的靈魂出死，也必掩沒許多的罪。

被拉到死地的、你要援救；東倒西歪而走向屠宰場的、你不可不攔阻。

給予貧窮的、不致缺乏；掩目不看的、必多受咒詛。

恰巧有一個祭司在那條路上下去；看見了他，就從對面過去了。有一個利未人也這樣；他到那地方，看見、也從對面過去了。

『你們中間甚麼人有一百隻羊，失掉其中的一隻，不把這九十九隻撇在野地，去找那失掉的，直到找着呢？找着了，就擱在肩膀上，直歡喜。來到家裏，就招集朋友和同鄉，對他們說：「和我一同歡喜吧，因為我那失掉的羊、我已經找着了。

失喪的我必尋找，被放逐的我必領回，受折傷的我必綁紮，有病的我必使他強壯；肥的壯的我必保守；我必按正義加以牧養。

我要等候那掩面不顧雅各家的永恆主；我要仰望他。

豈不是把你的食物分給饑餓的人，將流浪的貧困人帶到你家中，見赤身裸體的、給他衣服遮身，而不躲藏避開你骨肉之親麼？

耶穌回答說：『我奉差遣，不過是去找以色列家迷失的羊罷了。』

瘦弱的你們沒有養壯，有病的你們沒有醫治，受折傷的你們沒有綁紮，被放逐的你們沒有領回，失喪的你們沒有尋找；你們只用強力和嚴酷管轄他們。

寧可去找以色列家失掉的羊。

人把他的後裔獻給摩洛，這地的人若掩目不看，不把他處死，

你們像羊走迷了路，如今卻回轉過來、歸你們靈魂的牧人和監督了。

你們以為怎樣？一個人若有一百隻羊，其中有一隻走迷了路，難道他不撇下這九十九隻在山上，去找那隻迷路的麼？若是找着了，我實在告訴你們，他為了這一隻來歡喜，比為了那九十九隻沒有迷路的，歡喜還要大呢。
