you must not leave the body hanging on the pole overnight. Be sure to bury it that same day, because anyone who is hung on a pole is under God’s curse. You must not desecrate the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

犹太人因这日是预备日，又因那安息日是个大日，就求彼拉多叫人打断他们的腿，把他们拿去，免得尸首当安息日留在十字架上。

连地也玷污了，所以我追讨那地的罪孽，那地也吐出它的居民。

神使那无罪的，替我们成为罪，好叫我们在他里面成为神的义。

可憎的物，你不可带进家去；不然，你就成了当毁灭的，与那物一样。你要十分厌恶，十分憎嫌，因为这是当毁灭的物。”

因此，以色列人在仇敌面前站立不住。他们在仇敌面前转背逃跑，是因成了被咒诅的；你们若不把当灭的物从你们中间除掉，我就不再与你们同在了。

随后约书亚将这五王杀死，挂在五棵树上。他们就在树上直挂到晚上。日头要落的时候，约书亚一吩咐，人就把尸首从树上取下来，丢在他们藏过的洞里，把几块大石头放在洞口，直存到今日。

为我弟兄，我骨肉之亲，就是自己被咒诅，与基督分离，我也愿意。

又将艾城王挂在树上，直到晚上。日落的时候，约书亚吩咐人把尸首从树上取下来，丢在城门口，在尸首上堆成一大堆石头，直存到今日。

耶和华吩咐摩西说：“将百姓中所有的族长在我面前对着日头悬挂，使我向以色列人所发的怒气可以消了。”

这样，你们就不污秽所住之地，因为血是污秽地的；若有在地上流人血的，非流那杀人者的血，那地就不得洁净。你们不可玷污所住之地，就是我住在其中之地，因为我耶和华住在以色列人中间。”

若有人不爱主，这人可诅可咒。主必要来！

现在愿将他的子孙七人交给我们，我们好在耶和华面前，将他们悬挂在耶和华拣选扫罗的基比亚。”王说：“我必交给你们。”
