免得他们将祭拜自己神明的可憎习俗传给你们，以致你们得罪你们的上帝耶和华。

免彼教爾、效其行於諸神可惡之事、致獲罪於爾上帝耶和華、○

彼奉其上帝、行諸可惡之事、爾若則效之、即干犯爾之上帝耶和華。

免彼誘爾效其所為可惡之事、即拜其神所為之事、致爾獲罪於主爾之天主、○

Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God.

If you don’t destroy them, they’ll teach you to do all the things the Lord hates. He hates the way they worship their gods. If you do those things, you will sin against the Lord your God.

that they may not teach you to do according to all their abominable practices that they have done for their gods, and so you sin against the Lord your God.

This will prevent the people of the land from teaching you to imitate their detestable customs in the worship of their gods, which would cause you to sin deeply against the Lord your God.

so that they won’t teach you to do all the detestable acts they do for their gods, and you sin against the LORD your God.

so that they will not teach you to do all the same detestable practices of theirs which they have done for their gods, by which you would sin against the Lord your God.

lest they teach you to do according to all their abominations which they have done for their gods, and you sin against the Lord your God.

那时，你们要谨慎，不可受诱惑去效法他们的习俗，不可打听他们神明的事，说，‘这些民族怎样供奉他们的神明呢？我也要效法。’你们不可按照他们的方式敬拜你们的上帝耶和华。他们祭拜自己神明的种种行为令耶和华憎恶，他们甚至焚烧自己的儿女献给他们的神明。

也不可让这些民族住在你的土地上，免得他们使你得罪我，你若供奉他们的神明，必因此而陷入网罗。”

又说：“所以，你们要从他们中间出来，离开他们，不要沾染污秽之物，我就接纳你们。

因为他们会让你们的儿女离弃耶和华去拜其他神明，以致耶和华向你们发怒，迅速毁灭你们。你们要拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的神柱，砍下他们的亚舍拉神像，焚烧他们的偶像。

给儿子娶他们的女儿为妻，以致她们与自己的神明苟合时诱使你的儿子犯同样的罪。

你们不要上当受骗，“交坏朋友会败坏好品德”。

如果有人不听从这信上的教导，要注意提防他，不要和他来往，好使他羞愧。

他们没有照耶和华的命令消灭外族人，反倒与他们混居，仿效他们的习俗，拜他们的神像，陷入网罗。他们把自己的儿女当祭物献给鬼魔，他们把自己的儿女献给迦南的神像作祭物，流他们儿女无辜的血，玷污了那地方。他们的行为玷污了自己，使自己沦为淫妇。耶和华因此向祂的子民发怒，厌恶他们，

不可参与那些黑暗无益的事，反要揭发斥责，

毫无疑问，你们的上帝耶和华必不再为你们赶走他们。相反，他们还要成为设在你们当中的圈套和陷阱，你们的肉中刺、眼中钉，直到你们在你们的上帝耶和华所赐给你们的这块美好的土地上灭亡。

他们讲的话像毒疮，只会越烂越大，许米乃和腓理徒就是例子。他们离经背道，说复活的事已成过去，动摇了许多人的信心。

因此，我告诉你们，我必不赶走这里的居民，他们必成为你们肋旁的刺，他们的神明必成为你们的网罗。”

使那些思想败坏、失去真理的人争论不休，甚至把敬虔当作生财之道。

如果有人不听从他奉我的名所说的话，我必亲自惩罚那人。

因为列国都被她荒淫的烈酒灌醉了。地上的君王曾经与她通奸，地上的商人也因她穷奢极侈的生活而发了财。”我听见天上又有一个声音说：“我的子民啊，离开那城，以免沾染她的罪恶，受她所受的灾祸。因为她已经罪恶滔天，上帝没有忘记她一切的不义。
