When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it.

The Lord your God will hand it over to you. When he does, kill all the men with your swords.

And when the Lord your God gives it into your hand, you shall put all its males to the sword,

When the Lord your God hands the town over to you, use your swords to kill every man in the town.

When the LORD your God hands it over to you, strike down all its males with the sword.

When the Lord your God gives it into your hand, you shall strike all the men in it with the edge of the sword.

And when the Lord your God delivers it into your hands, you shall strike every male in it with the edge of the sword.

and when Jehovah thy God delivereth it into thy hand, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:

When the Lord your God hands it over to you, you must strike down all its males with the sword.

And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:

The LORD your God will deliver it over to you and you must kill every single male by the sword.

When Yahweh your God delivers it into your hand, you shall strike every male of it with the edge of the sword;

祂說：「在我的錫安聖山上，我已立了我的君王。」那位君王說：「我要宣告耶和華的旨意，祂對我說，『你是我的兒子，我今日成為你父親。你向我祈求，我必把列國賜給你作產業，讓天下都歸你所有。你要用鐵杖統治他們，把他們像陶器一般打碎。』」君王啊，要慎思明辨！世上的統治者啊，要接受勸誡！要以敬畏的心事奉耶和華，要喜樂也要戰戰兢兢。要降服在祂兒子面前，免得祂發怒，你們便在罪惡中滅亡，因為祂的怒氣將臨。投靠祂的人有福了！

當主耶穌和祂大能的天使在烈焰中從天上顯現時，祂必使你們這些受苦的人和我們同得安慰，懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。

耶和華啊，你的手必尋索你的敵人，你用右手搜出所有恨你的人。你一出現，他們便像身在火爐中，你在烈怒中吞滅他們，你的烈火燒滅他們。

至於那些反對我作王的仇敵，把他們捉回來，在我面前處決。』」

耶和華對我主說：「你坐在我的右邊，等我使你的仇敵成為你的腳凳。」

從前大衛征討以東，元帥約押前去埋葬陣亡的人，將以東的男子都殺了。他率領以色列人在那裡住了六個月，直到殺光了以東的男子。
