耶穌對他們說：『我從前差遣你們不帶着錢囊口袋和鞋，那時你們缺少了甚麼沒有？』他們說：『沒有。』

你要記得、這四十年在曠野、永恆主你的上帝一路引領你，是要使你受苦、是要試驗你，要知道你心裏怎樣、肯守他的誡命不肯。他使你受苦，任你饑餓，將你和你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你喫，使你知道人活着、不是單靠着食物，人活着、乃是靠着永恆主口裏所出的一切話。這四十年、你身上的衣服沒有破掉，你的腳也沒有起泡。

我領你們在曠野四十年；你們身上的衣服並沒有破掉，你腳上的鞋也沒有壞掉；

我要因你的堅愛而快樂歡喜；因為你見過我的困苦，知照我心中的艱難；

他們在曠野四十年你供養了他們，他們都沒有缺乏：他們的衣裳沒有破舊，他們的腳也沒有起泡。

願主我們的上帝之恩美歸於我們身上；願你堅立我們的手所作的工、於我們身上；我們的手所作的工、願你堅立它。

然而他知道我素常的路；他試煉了我，我就顯出是黃金。

以撒在那地播種，就在那一年得了百倍的收成：永恆主賜福與他。
