I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

From the Desert of Kedemoth I sent messengers to Sihon king of Heshbon offering peace and saying,

I sent messengers from the Desert of Kedemoth. I told them to go to Sihon, the king of Heshbon. They offered him peace. They said,

“ So I sent messengers from the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon the king of Heshbon, with words of peace, saying,

Moses continued,“ From the wilderness of Kedemoth I sent ambassadors to King Sihon of Heshbon with this proposal of peace:

“ So I sent messengers with an offer of peace to King Sihon of Heshbon from the Wilderness of Kedemoth, saying,

“ So I sent messengers from the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

“ And I sent messengers from the Wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon, with words of peace, saying,

And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

“ So I sent messengers with an offer of peace to Sihon king of Heshbon from the Wilderness of Kedemoth, saying,

Then I sent messengers from the Kedemoth Desert to King Sihon of Heshbon with an offer of peace:

Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,

As you enter into the household, greet it.If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it isn’t worthy, let your peace return to you.Whoever doesn’t receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.Most certainly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

Kedemoth with its pasture lands, and Mephaath with its pasture lands: four cities.

He sent letters to all the Jews, to the hundred twenty- seven provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words of peace and truth,

Into whatever house you enter, first say,‘ Peace be to this house.’If a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.

But into whatever city you enter, and they don’t receive you, go out into its streets and say,‘ Even the dust from your city that clings to us, we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that God’s Kingdom has come near to you.’I tell you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.

When you draw near to a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace to it.It shall be, if it gives you answer of peace and opens to you, then it shall be that all the people who are found therein shall become forced laborers to you, and shall serve you.
