天下邦國、既聞爾名、我必使之畏爾、戰慄悚惶。○

自今日、我使天下萬民因爾驚恐畏懼、彼聞爾名、俱戰慄悚惶、

This very day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble and be in anguish because of you.”

必無人能禦爾、於爾所履之地、爾上帝耶和華、必使其民悚懼恐惶、以踐其言、○

列邦聞之而戰慄、非利士居民因之而悽愴、以東侯伯悚惶、摩押英豪震慴、迦南居民銷鑠、驚駭恐懼、臨及其身、耶和華歟、因爾巨臂、彼皆寂然如石、俟爾之民過焉、俟爾所贖之民過焉、

天下億兆、將見爾稱以耶和華名、惟爾是畏、

我在爾前、發我威烈、於爾所至、潰亂其民、使敵背爾而逃、

撒但之黨、自謂猶太人而非然者、乃誑耳、我必使之來、拜爾足前、而知我已愛爾焉、

埃及恐懼、見其出而悅懌兮、

對曰、有人確告僕云、爾上帝耶和華曾諭其僕摩西、以此全地賜爾、悉滅其民、故我甚懼、以命難保、遂行是事、

蓋耶和華使亞蘭軍旅、聞車聲馬聲、大軍之聲、則相語曰、以色列王必賄赫族、與埃及諸王、來攻我矣、薄暮即起而遁、棄其帳幕馬驢、留營如故、祇逃其生、

此邑在天下萬國中、必於我為可喜可讚、有榮之名、凡聞我所錫之福祉、所加之平康、必因而驚惶戰慄、

曰、耶和華以此地賜爾、我所知也、緣爾之故、吾儕畏懼、斯土之民喪膽、爾出埃及時、耶和華使紅海之水涸於爾前、約但東之亞摩利二王西宏及噩、為爾所滅、我已聞之、我儕聞而心怯、以爾之故、無不氣餒者、蓋爾上帝耶和華、乃上天下地之上帝也、今我以仁慈待爾、請指耶和華而誓、亦必以仁慈待我父家、示我以實證、
