你走近亚扪人面前的时候，不可敌视他们，也不可与他们争执；亚扪人的地我不赐给你们作产业，因为我已经把那地赐给了罗得的子孙作产业。

行近亞捫族、勿擾之、勿與戰爭、其地非汝所得、蓋我以之錫羅得後裔為業。

行近亞捫族、勿以之為敵、勿與戰爭、我不以亞捫族之地賜爾為業、因已賜之羅得子孫為業、○

When you come to the Ammonites, do not harass them or provoke them to war, for I will not give you possession of any land belonging to the Ammonites. I have given it as a possession to the descendants of Lot.”

When you come to the Ammonites, do not attack them. Do not make them angry. If you do, they will go to war against you. I will not give you any of their land as your own. I have given it to the people in the family line of Lot. I have given it to them as their own.”

And when you approach the territory of the people of Ammon, do not harass them or contend with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot for a possession.’

and enter the land of the Ammonites, the descendants of Lot. But do not bother them or start a war with them. I have given the land of Ammon to them as their property, and I will not give you any of their land.’”

When you come opposite the sons of Ammon, do not attack them nor provoke them, for I will not give you any of the land of the sons of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot as a possession.’

And when you come near the people of Ammon, do not harass them or meddle with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the descendants of Lot as a possession.’”

and when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, vex them not, nor contend with them; for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

耶和华对我说：‘你不可敌视摩押人，也不可与他们争战；他们的地我不赐给你作产业，因为我已经把亚珥赐给了罗得的子孙作产业。

这样，罗得的两个女儿，都从她们的父亲怀了孕。大女儿生了一个儿子，给他起名叫摩押，就是现在摩押人的始祖。小女儿也生了一个儿子，给他起名叫便．亚米，就是现在亚扪人的始祖。

不要与他们争执；他们的地，连脚掌那么大的一块，我都不给你们，因为我已经把西珥山赐给以扫作产业。

现在这里有亚扪人、摩押人和西珥山的人，从前以色列人从埃及地出来的时候，你不许以色列人侵犯他们。那时，以色列人就离开了他们，不除灭他们。

亚扪人的王对耶弗他的使者说：“因以色列人从埃及上来的时候，夺了我的土地，从亚嫩河到雅博河，直到约旦河；现在你要把它和和平平地交还。”耶弗他又再派使者去见亚扪人的王，对他说：“耶弗他这样说：‘以色列人并没有夺取过摩押地和亚扪人的土地。以色列人从埃及上来的时候，是走过旷野到红海，到了加低斯；就派遣使者去见以东王，说：求你让我们经过你的领土。以东王却不答应；又派遣使者去见摩押王，摩押王也不肯；以色列人就住在加低斯。以后，他们走过旷野，绕过以东地和摩押地，到了摩押地的东边，在亚嫩河那边安营；他们并没有进入摩押境内，因为亚嫩河是摩押的边界。以色列人又派遣使者去见亚摩利人的王西宏，就是希实本王，对他说：求你让我们经过你的领土，到我们自己的地方去。西宏却不信任以色列人，不让他们经过他的境界；西宏聚集了他所有的人民，在雅杂安营，与以色列人争战。耶和华以色列的神，把西宏和他所有的人民都交在以色列人手中，以色列人击杀了他们，夺取了住在那地的亚摩利人的全地，占领了亚摩利人四周的境界，从亚嫩河到雅博河，从旷野直到约旦河。现在耶和华以色列的神，已经把亚摩利人从他的子民以色列人面前赶走了，你竟要占有这地吗？你不是应占有你的神基抹要你占有的地吗？我们不是应占有耶和华我们的神，从我们面前赶走的人的一切地吗？现在难道你比摩押王西拨的儿子巴勒还强吗？他曾经与以色列人争竞吗？或是与以色列人交战过吗？以色列人住在希实本和属希实本的村镇，亚罗珥和亚罗珥的村镇，以及亚嫩河沿岸的一切城市，已经有三百年了；在这时期内，你们为什么没有夺回这些地方呢？我没有得罪你，你竟恶待我，攻打我；愿审判者耶和华今日在以色列人和亚扪人中间，判断是非。’”
