If a false witness testifies against another person and accuses him of a crime,

若有凶恶的见证人起来，见证某人作恶，

若有人怀恶意，起来作证，控告他人犯法，

若有人怀恶意，起来作证，控告他人犯法，

如果有人作伪证诬陷别人，

如果有强横的见证人起来，指证某人作恶，

若有凶惡的見證人起來，見證某人作惡，

若有人懷惡意，起來作證，控告他人犯法，

若有人懷惡意，起來作證，控告他人犯法，

如果有人作偽證誣陷別人，

如果有強橫的見證人起來，指證某人作惡，

若有一個強暴的見證人起來指責一個人，作證控訴他橫逆不道，

如有妄證、起而罪人、

如有妄證以罪歸人、

如有妄證者、證人犯罪、

If a malicious witness takes the stand to accuse someone of a crime,

Suppose a witness who tells lies goes to court and brings charges against someone. The witness says someone committed a crime.

If a malicious witness arises to accuse a person of wrongdoing,

“ If a malicious witness comes forward and accuses someone of a crime,

“ If a malicious witness testifies against someone accusing him of a crime,

If a malicious witness rises up against a person to testify against him of wrongdoing,

If a false witness rises against any man to testify against him of wrongdoing,

If an unrighteous witness rise up against any man to testify against him of wrong- doing,

“ If a malicious witness testifies against someone accusing him of a crime,

If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him[ that which is] wrong;

If an unrighteous witness rises up against any man to testify against him of wrongdoing,

Do not turn me over to my enemies, for false witnesses who want to destroy me testify against me.

“ You must not give a false report. Do not make common cause with the wicked to be a malicious witness.“ You must not follow a crowd in doing evil things; in a lawsuit you must not offer testimony that agrees with a crowd so as to pervert justice,and you must not show partiality to a poor man in his lawsuit.“ If you encounter your enemy’s ox or donkey wandering off, you must by all means return it to him.If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen under its load, you must not ignore him, but be sure to help him with it.“ You must not turn away justice for your poor people in their lawsuits.Keep your distance from a false charge– do not kill the innocent and the righteous, for I will not justify the wicked.

Violent men perjure themselves, and falsely accuse me.

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find anything.Many gave false testimony against him, but their testimony did not agree.Some stood up and gave this false testimony against him:“ We heard him say,‘ I will destroy this temple made with hands and in three days build another not made with hands.’”Yet even on this point their testimony did not agree.

They brought forward false witnesses who said,“ This man does not stop saying things against this holy place and the law.

Also seat two villains opposite him and have them testify,‘ You cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”The men of the city, the leaders and the nobles who lived there, followed the written orders Jezebel had sent them.They observed a time of fasting and put Naboth in front of the people.The two villains arrived and sat opposite him. Then the villains testified against Naboth right before the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they dragged him outside the city and stoned him to death.
