One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offense they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

我将赐能力给我的两个见证人，他们将披着麻衣，做先知传道一千二百六十天。”这两个人就是站在大地之主面前的那两棵橄榄树、那两座灯台。如果有人想要伤害他们，火就从他们的口中出来，吞灭他们的敌人；如果有人想要伤害他们，就必定这样被杀。这两个人有权柄闭塞天空，使雨水在他们做先知传道的日子不降下来；又有权柄统管众水，使水变成血，并且能随时随意用各样灾害击打大地。他们做完了见证以后，那从无底坑里上来的兽将与他们作战，并且将胜过他们，把他们杀死。
