When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.

“你到了耶和华你神所赐之地，那些国民所行可憎恶的事，你不可学着行。

“你到了耶和华—你上帝所赐你之地，不可学那些国家行可憎恶的事。

“你到了耶和华—你神所赐你之地，不可学那些国家行可憎恶的事。

“你们进入你们的上帝耶和华将要赐给你们的土地后，不可仿效当地民族的可憎行径。

“你到了耶和华你的神要赐给你的那地的时候，那些外族人可厌可恶的事，你不可学习去行。

爾曹至爾上帝耶和華所錫之地、彼民所為可惡之事、爾勿則效。

爾既至主爾天主所賜爾之地、毋傚彼諸民所為可惡之事、

You will enter the land the Lord your God is giving you. When you do, don’t copy the practices of the nations there. The Lord hates those practices.

“ When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations.

“ When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there.

“ When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not imitate the detestable customs of those nations.

“ When you enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations.

When thou art come into the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

The Lord your God will cut off before you the nations you are about to invade and dispossess. But when you have driven them out and settled in their land,and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying,“ How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same.”You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.

But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native- born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things,for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled.

Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”
