若有先知冒我的名说我未曾吩咐他的话，或以其他神明的名义说话，必须处死他。’

若有先知擅敢托我的名说我所未曾吩咐他说的话，或是奉别神的名说话，那先知就必治死。’

若有先知擅自奉我的名说了我未曾吩咐他说的话，或是奉别神的名说话，那先知就必处死。’

“‘不过，如果有先知擅自奉我的名，说我没有吩咐他说的话，或是奉别神的名说话，那先知就必须处死。’

若有先知擅敢託我的名說我所未曾吩咐他說的話，或是奉別神的名說話，那先知就必治死。』

若有先知擅自奉我的名說了我未曾吩咐他說的話，或是奉別神的名說話，那先知就必處死。』

若有先知擅自奉我的名說了我未曾吩咐他說的話，或是奉別神的名說話，那先知就必處死。』

如有先知擅藉我名、言我所未諭者、或藉他神之名而言、必致之死、

但先知擅藉我名、言我所未嘗諭者、或藉他上帝之名而言、則必死亡。

如有先知擅藉我名、言我所未命其宣傳之言、或藉異邦之神而言、彼先知當誅、

But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”

But suppose a prophet dares to speak in my name something I have not commanded. Or he speaks in the name of other gods. Then that prophet must be put to death.”

“如果你们中间出现了先知或解梦的人，要显神迹奇事给你们看，劝你们随从、供奉素不认识的神明，即使他们显的神迹奇事应验了，你们也不可听从他们。因为这是你们的上帝耶和华在试验你们，要看看你们是否全心全意地爱祂。你们要跟从你们的上帝耶和华，敬畏祂，遵守祂的诫命，听从祂的话，事奉祂，倚靠祂。必须处死那些先知或解梦的人，因为他们怂恿你们背叛你们的上帝耶和华、偏离祂吩咐你们当走的道路。你们的上帝耶和华曾带你们离开埃及，救你们脱离奴役。你们必须清除你们当中的邪恶。

若有人再说预言，他的亲生父母必对他说，‘你不得活命，因为你奉耶和华的名说谎。’他说预言的时候，他的亲生父母必把他刺死。

我看见撒玛利亚的先知行为可憎，他们靠巴力说预言，引诱我的子民走入歧途。我也看见耶路撒冷的先知行为可恶，他们通奸，谎话连篇，怂恿恶人，以致无人悔过自新。在我眼中，耶路撒冷人就像所多玛人和蛾摩拉人一样败坏。因此，论到这些先知，万军之耶和华说，‘看啊，我要使他们吃苦艾，喝毒药，因为亵渎之风从耶路撒冷的先知那里蔓延，遍及全境。’”

以利亚对他们说：“抓住巴力的先知，别放走一个人！”众人就抓住他们，以利亚把他们带到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

耶和华并没有派他们，他们却奉祂的名说假预言。如果你们听信他们的话，耶和华必把你们和假先知赶走，使你们一同灭亡。”

但他们好像没有理性，生下来就是预备让人捉去宰杀的牲畜，连自己不懂的事也随口毁谤。他们在毁坏别人的时候，自己也必灭亡。

耶利米先知就对哈拿尼雅先知说：“哈拿尼雅，听着！耶和华并没有派你来，你却诱使这些民众相信你的谎话。因此，耶和华说，‘我要把你从世上除掉，你今年必死，因为你背叛了耶和华。’”哈拿尼雅先知便在当年七月死了。

耶和华对我说：“那些先知奉我的名说假预言，我并没有差派他们，没有委任他们，也没有对他们说话。他们对你们说的预言是假异象，是占卜，是凭空捏造。我没有差派他们，他们却奉我的名说这地方必没有战争和饥荒。他们必死于战争和饥荒。这是耶和华说的。

中午时分，以利亚讥讽他们说：“喊大声一点，他肯定是神明！也许他在沉思冥想，也许太忙了，也许出游了，也许睡着了，需要人叫醒他！”

众祭司从来不问‘耶和华在哪里？’执掌律法的不认识我，首领背叛我，先知靠巴力说预言，随从无用的假神。

后来，怪兽被俘虏了，在怪兽面前行奇迹的假先知也一同被擒了。这假先知曾用奇迹欺骗那些盖了兽印、敬拜兽像的人。他和怪兽一同被活活地扔进硫磺火湖里。

他们的异象虚假不实，他们的预言谎话连篇。他们口口声声说是传达耶和华的话，其实耶和华并没有差遣他们。他们竟然指望自己的谎言能够应验。

现在，你快派人去召集所有的以色列人到迦密山来见我，把巴力的四百五十名先知和耶洗别所供养的四百名亚舍拉的先知也带来。”

耶和华说：“看啊，我要对付那些假先知，他们妄自说预言，却谎称是耶和华的话。”

“你们要提防假先知，他们披着羊皮到你们当中，骨子里却是凶残的狼。
