主爾天主必於爾中、在爾同族同族原文作兄弟下同中、為爾立先知如我、爾當聽從、

耶和华你的神要从你们弟兄中间给你兴起一位先知，像我，你们要听从他。

The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.

此摩西曾語以色列人云、主爾之天主、將於爾兄弟中、挺生一先知若我者、爾宜聽之、

昔摩西語我列祖曰、主爾之天主、將於爾兄弟中、立一先知如我、凡其所諭爾者、爾當聽之、不聽此先知者、必絕於民中、

腓立遇拿坦業、謂之曰、摩西於律法及諸先知所記之人、我已遇之、即拿撒勒人約瑟之子耶穌、

蓋天主惟一、在天主世人之間、中保亦惟一、即降世為人之基督耶穌、

我於其同族中為之立先知如爾、我將以我言授於其口、使其以我所命者諭眾、如有人不聽從我言、即先知藉我名所傳之言、我必討其罪、

古時天主藉諸先知屢次多方諭列祖、在此末世、藉其子諭我儕、天主立子以嗣萬物、且藉子創造諸世界、

言時、有光耀之雲覆之、有聲自雲出曰、此我愛子、我所喜悅者、爾當聽之、

有聲自雲出曰、此我愛子、爾宜聽之、

耶穌曰、信天主所遣者、即行天主之事、

又問曰、爾為誰、以利亞乎、曰、否、曰、抑為彼先知乎、曰、否、

又問曰、爾非基督、非以利亞、非彼先知、何為施洗乎、

夫聽爾者、即聽我、拒爾者、即拒我、拒我者、即拒遣我者也、○

耶穌曰、何事、對曰、拿撒勒耶穌之事、彼乃先知、在天主及眾民前、言行有大能者、

彼盡忠於立之之天主前、如摩西盡忠於天主全家、彼當受榮過於摩西、猶建家者之尊於其家、蓋凡家必有建之者、建萬有者、天主也、摩西為僕、在天主全家盡忠、為預證將來必傳之道、基督為子、治理其家、我儕若持守毅然之心、與可誇之望、鞏固至終、則皆為其家、

故我儕當更慎於所聞之道、恐或遺之、其藉天使所傳之道既確定、凡不順而逆者、皆遭應得之報、我儕若輕忽救道如此之大者、何能逃罪乎、此道主始言之、而聞之者、明證於我儕、

此後以色列中、無復挺生先知若摩西者、為主覿面相識、

當時我立在主及爾曹間、以主言告爾、蓋爾曹懼火、不敢登山、

為光照異邦之人、亦為主以色列民之榮、
