則必以主爾天主所選者、立之為王治理爾、惟可立爾同族同族原文作兄弟中一人為王治理爾、若外邦人、非爾同族人、同族人原文作兄弟下同不可立之為王治理爾、

你总要立耶和华你神所拣选的人为王。必从你弟兄中立一人；不可立你弟兄以外的人为王。

你一定要立耶和华—你上帝所拣选的人为你的王。要从你弟兄中立一人为你的王，不可立你弟兄之外的外邦人治理你。

你一定要立耶和华—你神所拣选的人为你的王。要从你弟兄中立一人为你的王，不可立你弟兄之外的外邦人治理你。

那么，你们一定要立你们的上帝耶和华拣选的人；必须立你们的以色列同胞为王，不可立外族人。

be sure to appoint over you a king the Lord your God chooses. He must be from among your fellow Israelites. Do not place a foreigner over you, one who is not an Israelite.

When that happens, make sure you appoint over yourselves a king the Lord your God chooses. He must be from among your own people. Don’t appoint over yourselves someone from another country. Don’t choose anyone who isn’t from one of the tribes of Israel.

遂遣人召之來、其面赤色、雙目清秀、身材俊美、主曰、此人是也、起而膏之、撒母耳取角中之膏、膏之於其諸兄間、自此日後、主之神感大衛、撒母耳啟行、歸拉瑪、

世間君王興起、侯伯會議、欲抗逆主、抗逆主所立之受膏者、

昔掃羅為我王時、爾已率以色列人出入、主曾許爾曰、爾必牧我民以色列、必為君治理以色列、

掃羅未至之先一日、主已默示撒母耳、曰、明日約此時、我將使一人自便雅憫地、來此就爾、爾必膏之立為我民以色列君、救我民脫於非利士人之手、蓋我垂顧我民、其呼籲上達於我、撒母耳見掃羅來時、主諭之曰、此人即我所言者也、彼可治理我民、

曰、我已沐之以膏、立之為王在我聖郇山、

備戰之將士、至希伯崙見大衛、欲循主所命、以掃羅之國位歸大衛、其數如左、

請告我、爾意如何、納稅於該撒該撒羅瑪君之稱宜否、
