The man who acts presumptuously by not obeying the priest who stands to minister there before the Lord your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.

若有人擅敢不听从那侍立在耶和华你神面前的祭司，或不听从审判官，那人就必治死；这样，便将那恶从以色列中除掉。

若有人擅自行事，不听从那侍立在耶和华—你上帝那里事奉的祭司，或不听从审判官，那人就要处死。这样，你就把恶从以色列中除掉。

若有人擅自行事，不听从那侍立在耶和华—你神那里事奉的祭司，或不听从审判官，那人就要处死。这样，你就把恶从以色列中除掉。

如果有人不肯接受事奉你们上帝耶和华的祭司和审判官的判决，就必须处死他。如此，你们便从以色列除掉了罪恶，

祭司侍於爾上帝耶和華前、以供役事、有人擅行、而不聽從、並不服於刑官、則必死毋赦、如是絕惡於以色列族中。

有人擅敢不聽從祭司、即侍立在彼以奉事主爾之天主者、或不聽從士師、其人必當治死、如是、除惡於以色列人中、

Anyone who shows contempt for the judge or for the priest who stands ministering there to the Lord your God is to be put to death. You must purge the evil from Israel.

Someone might show that they don’t respect the judge. Or they will show that they don’t respect the priest. The priest will serve the Lord your God at the place God will choose. If anyone doesn’t show respect for these people, that person must be put to death. Remove that evil person from Israel.

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the Lord your God must die. In this way you will purge the evil from Israel.

The person who acts arrogantly, refusing to listen either to the priest who stands there serving the LORD your God or to the judge, must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

But the person who acts insolently by not listening to the priest who stands there to serve the Lord your God, nor to the judge, that person shall die; so you shall eliminate the evil from Israel.

Now the man who acts presumptuously and will not heed the priest who stands to minister there before the Lord your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall put away the evil from Israel.

And the man that doeth presumptuously, in not hearkening unto the priest that standeth to minister there before Jehovah thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

The person who acts arrogantly, refusing to listen either to the priest who stands there serving the Lord your God or to the judge, must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

The person who pays no attention to the priest currently serving the LORD your God there, or to the verdict– that person must die, so that you may purge evil from Israel.

The man who does presumptuously in not listening to the priest who stands to minister there before Yahweh your God, or to the judge, even that man shall die. You shall put away the evil from Israel.

But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord to stand before the Lord to minister to him and to bless in his name, to this day.

Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.

and ministers in the name of the Lord his God, like all his fellow Levites who stand to minister there before the Lord,

Yet let no one contend, and let none accuse, for with you is my contention, O priest.

and that if anyone did not come within three days, by order of the officials and the elders all his property should be forfeited, and he himself banned from the congregation of the exiles.

For the Lord your God has chosen him out of all your tribes to stand and minister in the name of the Lord, him and his sons for all time.

The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses.How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace?

As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear.

When a scoffer is punished, the simple becomes wise; when a wise man is instructed, he gains knowledge.

“ For twenty-three years, from the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, to this day, the word of the Lord has come to me, and I have spoken persistently to you, but you have not listened.You have neither listened nor inclined your ears to hear, although the Lord persistently sent to you all his servants the prophets,saying,‘ Turn now, every one of you, from his evil way and evil deeds, and dwell upon the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers from of old and forever.Do not go after other gods to serve and worship them, or provoke me to anger with the work of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.’Yet you have not listened to me, declares the Lord, that you might provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm.“ Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Because you have not obeyed my words,behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, and make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.Moreover, I will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the grinding of the millstones and the light of the lamp.This whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.Then after seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, making the land an everlasting waste.I will bring upon that land all the words that I have uttered against it, everything written in this book, which Jeremiah prophesied against all the nations.For many nations and great kings shall make slaves even of them, and I will recompense them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.”

And all Israel shall hear and fear and never again do any such wickedness as this among you.

Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.

“ The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’

The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.
