So the king said,“ Is the hand of Joab with you in all this?” And the woman answered and said,“ As you live, my Lord the king, no one can turn to the right hand or to the left from anything that my Lord the king has spoken. For your servant Joab commanded me, and he put all these words in the mouth of your maidservant.

Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries.

that his heart may not be lifted above his brethren, that he may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel.

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,

“ Therefore you shall be careful to do as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

“ If there is a dispute between men, and they come to court, that the judges may judge them, and they justify the righteous and condemn the wicked,

Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, lest you turn aside from it to the right hand or to the left,

So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme,or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men—

and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,

But you have departed from the way; You have caused many to stumble at the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ Therefore I also have made you contemptible and base Before all the people, Because you have not kept My ways But have shown partiality in the law.”
