“ Never sacrifice sick or defective cattle, sheep, or goats to the Lord your God, for he detests such gifts.

Do not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep that has any defect or flaw in it, for that would be detestable to him.

You must never do this in your own land,and you must not accept such an animal from foreigners and then offer it as a sacrifice to your God. Such animals will not be accepted on your behalf, for they are mutilated or defective.”

But then I saw seven sick looking cows, scrawny and thin, come up after them. I’ve never seen such sorry looking animals in all the land of Egypt.

All who cheat with dishonest weights and measures are detestable to the Lord your God.
