For six days eat unleavened bread and on the seventh day hold an assembly to the Lord your God and do no work.

這月十五日是節期；要喫無酵餅七天。頭一天要有聖聚會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可作，只要獻火祭為燔祭給永恆主：就是牛兩隻、要小公牛、公綿羊一隻、公綿羊羔一歲以內的七隻，都要你們認為完全沒有殘疾的。

要行聖禮擬定禁食，宣告聖節會哦；要聚集眾長老、國中一切居民到你們的上帝永恆主的殿，向永恆主哀呼哦。

第八天他們舉行了聖節會；行獻壇禮七天，過了節七天。

從頭一天直到末一天、以斯拉天天誦讀着上帝的律法書。眾人都過了節七天；第八天照典章有聖節會。
