Do not eat it with bread made with yeast, but for seven days eat unleavened bread, the bread of affliction, because you left Egypt in haste— so that all the days of your life you may remember the time of your departure from Egypt.

Don’t eat the animal along with bread made with yeast. Instead, for seven days eat bread made without yeast. It’s the bread that reminds you of how much you suffered. Remember that you left Egypt in a hurry. Remember it all the days of your life. Don’t forget the day you left Egypt.

You shall eat no leavened bread with it. Seven days you shall eat it with unleavened bread, the bread of affliction— for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste— that all the days of your life you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt.

Eat it with bread made without yeast. For seven days the bread you eat must be made without yeast, as when you escaped from Egypt in such a hurry. Eat this bread— the bread of suffering— so that as long as you live you will remember the day you departed from Egypt.

他們可以在二月十四日黃昏守逾越節，要配無酵餅和苦菜一起吃逾越節的羊羔。

當晚，你們要用火把羊肉烤熟，與無酵餅和苦菜一起吃。

在這七天內，你們屋裡不能有酵。任何人若吃了有酵的東西，不論他是寄居者還是本地人，要將他從以色列會眾中剷除。無論你們住在哪裡都要吃無酵餅，不能吃有酵的食物。」

「我必將施恩和禱告的靈澆灌在大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民身上。他們必仰望我——他們所刺的那位，如喪獨子一般為祂哀傷，如喪長子一般為祂痛哭。

祂的奇妙作為令人無法忘懷。耶和華充滿憐憫和恩惠。

告訴他們，『王說，要把這人關在監牢，只給他一些餅和水，直到我平安地回來。』」

你們吃的時候，要束腰、穿鞋、手中拿杖，要趕快吃，這是耶和華的逾越節。

你們效法了我們和我們的主，儘管深受苦難，仍然懷著聖靈所賜的喜樂領受真道，

你早起晚睡，為生活操勞也是徒然，唯有耶和華所愛的人才能安眠。

十五日開始節慶，你們要連續七天吃無酵餅。

照你們的要求，把所有的牛羊都帶走吧！也要為我祝福。」埃及人催促以色列人趕快離開埃及，因為他們說：「我們都要死了。」

你們的兒女問你們守這節期的意義時，你們就說，『這是獻給耶和華逾越節的祭，因為我們從前在埃及時，祂擊殺埃及人，卻越過以色列人所住的房子，救了我們各家。』」百姓聽了摩西這番話，都低頭下拜。

接著，祂拿起餅來，祝謝後，掰開遞給他們，說：「這是我為你們犧牲的身體，你們今後也要這樣做，以紀念我。」

你們要記住這一天，守為耶和華的節期，作為世世代代永遠的定例。「七天之內你們都要吃無酵餅。第一天，要清除家中所有的酵。任何人若在這七天當中吃有酵的餅，要將他從以色列人中剷除。

摩西對百姓說：「你們要記住離開埃及的這一天，因為耶和華用大能的手把你們從受奴役的地方解救出來。不可吃帶酵的食物。你們是在亞筆月的這一天從埃及出來的，將來耶和華帶領你們進入迦南以後，你們每逢此月都要為祂守節期。那裡現在住著迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、希未人和耶布斯人。耶和華已經向你們祖先起誓，應許賜給你們那奶蜜之鄉。在節期的七天之內，你們只可以吃無酵餅，到了第七天，你們要為耶和華守節期。七天之內要吃無酵餅，你們境內不得有酵或是帶酵的東西。那時，要告訴你們的子孫，『這節期是紀念我們離開埃及時耶和華為我們所做的一切。』這節期就好像在你們手上或額上作的記號，叫你們記得耶和華的律法，祂曾經用大能的手把你們帶出埃及。

合乎上帝心意的憂傷會帶來悔改，使人得到救恩，永不後悔，但世俗的憂傷只會帶來死亡。你們看，合乎上帝心意的憂傷使你們產生了何等的迫切感啊！你們熱切地辯明自己的立場，對罪憤慨，恐懼顫抖，期盼與我相見，嫉惡如仇，懲處罪惡。你們在各方面已顯明自己在那件事上是清白的。

向上帝祝謝後掰開，說，「這是我的身體，是為你們掰開的，你們要這樣做，為的是紀念我。」晚餐後，祂又照樣拿起杯來，說，「這杯是用我的血立的新約。你們每逢喝的時候，要這樣做，為的是紀念我。」所以，每當你們吃這餅、喝這杯的時候，就是宣告主的死，一直到主再來。

從一月十五日開始是耶和華的無酵節，一連七天你們必須吃無酵餅。

我以爐灰為食物，眼淚拌著水喝，

所以，我們不可帶著歹毒邪惡的舊酵守這逾越節，而要用真誠純潔的無酵餅。
