Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent.

Do what is right. Treat everyone the same. Don’t take money from people who want special favors. It makes those who are wise close their eyes to the truth. It twists the words of those who have done nothing wrong.

You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

勒索使智慧人變為愚妄，賄賂能敗壞人的心。

因為耶和華－你們的上帝是萬神之神，萬主之主，是偉大、強有力、可畏的上帝，不看人的情面，也不受賄賂。

「不可對寄居的和孤兒屈枉正直，也不可拿寡婦的衣服作抵押。

惡人暗中受賄賂，以致彎曲公正的路。

「『對寄居的、孤兒和寡婦屈枉正直的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』

以下也是智慧人的箴言：審判時看人情面是不好的。

彼得開口說：「我真的看出上帝是不偏待人的。

他們雙手善於作惡，君王和審判官都索取賄賂；位高的人吐出心中的慾望，彼此勾結。

學習行善，尋求公平，幫助受欺壓的，替孤兒伸冤，為寡婦辯護。」

「不可在貧窮人的訴訟中屈枉正直。當遠離誣告的事。不可殺害無辜和義人，因我必不以惡人為義。不可接受賄賂，因為賄賂能使明眼人變瞎，又能曲解義人的證詞。

因此律法無效，公理從未彰顯。惡人圍困義人，所以公理遭受扭曲。

保羅卻說：「我們是羅馬人，並沒有定罪，他們竟在公眾面前打了我們，又把我們下在監裏；現在要私下趕我們出去嗎？這不行！叫他們自己來領我們出去吧！」

這時，保羅對他說：「你這粉飾的牆，上帝要打你！你坐堂是要按律法審問我，你竟違背律法，命令人打我嗎？」

我若舉手攻擊孤兒，因為在城門口見有幫助我的；情願我的肩膀從肩胛骨脫落，我的膀臂從肱骨折斷。

那行事公義、說話正直、憎惡欺壓所得之財、搖手不受賄賂、掩耳不聽流血的計謀、閉眼不看邪惡之事的，

我在這裏，你們要在耶和華和他的受膏者面前為我作證，我奪過誰的牛，搶過誰的驢，欺負過誰，虐待過誰，從誰手裏收過賄賂而蒙蔽自己的眼目呢？若有，我必償還。」

他的兒子不行他的道，貪圖財利，收取賄賂，屈枉正直。

你那裏有收取報酬而流人血的。你取利息，又索取高利；欺壓鄰舍，奪取財物；你竟然忘了我。這是主耶和華說的。

不可無故作證反對鄰舍，也不可用嘴唇欺騙人。

「當時，我吩咐你們的審判官說：『你們聽訟，無論是弟兄之間的訴訟，或與寄居者之間的訴訟，都要秉公判斷。審判的時候不可看人的情面；無論大小，你們都要聽訟。不可因人而懼怕，因為審判是上帝的事。你們當中若有難斷的案件，可以呈到我這裏，讓我來聽訟。』

你的官長悖逆，與盜賊為伍，全都喜愛賄賂，追求贓物；他們不為孤兒伸冤，寡婦的案件也呈不到他們面前。

他們肥胖光潤，作惡過甚，不為人伸冤，不為孤兒伸冤，使他們勝訴，也不為貧窮人辯護。

其中的領袖是咆哮的獅子，審判官是晚上的野狼，不留一點到早晨。它的先知是虛浮詭詐的人，祭司褻瀆聖所，強解律法。耶和華在它中間是公義的，斷不做非義的事，每早晨顯明他的公義，無日不然；只是不義的人不知羞恥。
