『你不可對寄居的和孤兒屈枉正直，也不可拿寡婦的衣服作當頭。

惡人從人懷裏接受賄賂，去屈枉正直的路。

『「對寄居者和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」

以下這些話也是智慧人的說的。審判時看人的外貌、很不好。

彼得就開口說：『我真地領會上帝不以貌取人；

他們的手掌按住壞事物，孜孜以求；首領和審判官企圖着報酬；大官貴人說出他們心中的慾望；一人一動，他們就聯結起來。

要學習行善；尋求公平，糾正殘暴的人，為孤兒伸冤，為寡婦辯訴。』

『不可在你的窮人的爭訟上屈枉正直。要遠離虛假的事；不可殺無辜和正義的人，因為我必不以惡人為無罪。不可受賄賂，因為賄賂能使明眼人變瞎，又能顛倒義人的案件。

因此律法僵化，公理總不出現。因為惡人圍困着義人，故此公理就使出現、也彎曲了。

保羅卻對他們說：『我們本是羅馬人，又是沒受定罪的；他們在公眾面前打了我們，給下在監裏；如今要私下裏把我們攆出去啊？絕對不行！不，他們要親自來，領我們出去！』

於是保羅對他說：『粉飾的牆，上帝將要擊打你了！你，你坐着審判我，是按律法的，竟違背律法命令人擊打我啊！』

我在城門口若見有幫助我的，便動手攻擊孤兒，那我情願、肩頭從缺盆骨上脫落，膀臂從羊矢骨上折斷。

那行事公義、說話正直、棄絕欺壓的財利、擺手不容納賄賂、塞耳不聽流人血的話、閉眼不看壞事的：

看哪，我在這裏；你們儘管當着永恆主和他所膏立者面前、作證控訴我：我取過誰的牛？取過誰的驢？我欺壓過誰，壓制過誰？我從誰手裏取過贖金，以致蒙蔽眼睛？作證控訴我吧，我要償還。』

他的兒子沒行他的道路，卻偏圖不義之財，收受賄賂，屈枉正直。

在你裏面有為了流人血而受賄賂的；利息和物資利你拿取了；你還用欺壓手段向你鄰舍貪圖不義之財；至於我呢、你卻忘記了：主永恆主發神諭說。

不可無緣無故作見證陷害鄰舍；不可用嘴詐騙人。

那時我吩咐你們的審判官說：「你們在同族弟兄中聽訟，無論是人跟同族弟兄有爭訟，還是人跟同住的外僑有爭訟，你們都要按着公義而判斷。審判的時候、不可看人的外貌；聽訟無論是聽卑小的，還是聽尊大的、都要一樣；不可怕人的情面，因為審判是屬於上帝的；你們認為難辦的案件、可以呈到我這裏來，我就判斷。」

你的大官倔強要造反，跟盜賊作伴；個個都喜愛賄賂，追求私酬；他們不為孤兒伸冤；寡婦的案件呈不到他們面前。

他們肥胖光潤，壞事拚命地作；不秉公裁判，不為孤兒辯訴，而援救他，也不為窮人伸冤。

她中間的首領是吼叫的獅子；她的審判官是晚上的豺狼，一點啃骨肉也不留到早晨。她的神言人是鹵莽詭詐的人；她的祭司褻瀆聖的所在，對禮節規矩橫加蹧蹋。永恆主滿有公義在她中間；他不作非義之事；他天天早晨顯出他的公平，其光並無不繼；但不義的人卻不知羞恥。
