Do what is right. Treat everyone the same. Don’t take money from people who want special favors. It makes those who are wise close their eyes to the truth. It twists the words of those who have done nothing wrong.

恶人暗中（“暗中”原文作“从怀里”）接受贿赂，为要歪曲公正。

“‘对寄居的和孤儿寡妇屈枉正直的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’

以下也是智慧人的话：审判的时候看人的情面是不对的。

彼得就开口说：“我实在看出神是不偏待人的。

他们双手善于作恶，官长和审判官都要求报酬；达官贵人说出心里的欲望；他们歪曲了一切。

学习行善，寻求公平，指责残暴的人，替孤儿伸冤，为寡妇辨屈。”

不可在穷人诉讼的事上歪曲正义。要远离虚假的事；不可杀无辜和正义的人，因为我决不以恶人为义人。不可受贿赂，因为贿赂能使明眼人变瞎，又能歪曲义人的话。

因此律法不能生效（“律法不能生效”原文作“律法松懈”），公理无法彰显。因为恶人把义人包围，所以公理颠倒。

保罗对他们说：“我们是罗马人，还没有定罪，他们就公开打我们，又放在监里；现在要私下赶我们出去吗？不行！他们应当亲自来，领我们出去！”

保罗对他说：“你这粉饰的墙啊，神要击打你！你坐堂要按着律法审问我，现在你竟然违背律法吩咐人打我吗？”

我若在城门见有支持我的，就挥手攻击孤儿，就愿我的肩头从肩胛脱落，愿我的前臂从上臂折断；

那行事公义，说话正直，拒绝不义的财利，摇手不受贿赂，塞耳不听血腥的事，闭眼不看邪恶的事的，

看哪，我在这里！你们只管在耶和华面前，以及在他的受膏者面前，作证指控我：我夺过谁的牛？抢过谁的驴？欺负过谁？虐待过谁？从谁手里受过贿赂，以致我的眼睛因此被蒙住呢？如果有，我必偿还给你们。”

两个儿子都没有行撒母耳的道路，反而转去追求不义之财，收受贿赂，屈枉正直。

在你里面有接受贿赂而流人血的；你借钱给人，收取利息，并且多要；你用欺压手段向你的邻舍榨取不义之财；你更忘记了我。这是主耶和华的宣告。

不可无故作证指控你的邻舍；不可诬告他人。

“那时，我吩咐你们的审判官，说：‘你们在兄弟中听讼，无论是兄弟彼此诉讼，或是与同居的外地人诉讼，都要按着公义审判。审判的时候，不可偏袒人；无论贵贱尊卑，都要一样地听讼；不可怕人的情面，因为审判是属于神的；如果你们遇见难断的案件，可以呈到我这里来，让我审断。’

你的官长存心悖逆，与盗贼同伙；人都贪爱贿赂，追索私酬；他们不替孤儿伸冤，寡妇的案件也呈不到他们面前。

他们肥胖光润，作尽各种坏事；他们不为人辩护，不替孤儿辨屈，使他们获益，也不为穷人伸冤。

城中的领袖都是咆哮的狮子，城中的审判官是夜间的豺狼，什么都不留到早晨。城中的先知都是轻浮诡诈的人；城中的祭司亵渎圣物，违犯律法。耶和华在城中是公义的，决不行不义的事；他每日早晨都显明公正，永不止息。不公义的人却不知廉耻。
