Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.

Each of you must bring a gift. Give to the Lord your God, just as he has given to you.

Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God that he has given you.

Everyone must appear with a gift suited to his means, according to the blessing the LORD your God has given you.

For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.

If anyone making the vow is too poor to pay the specified amount, the person being dedicated is to be presented to the priest, who will set the value according to what the one making the vow can afford.

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts.But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said,“ Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything— all she had to live on.”

The governor ordered them not to eat any of the most sacred food until there was a priest ministering with the Urim and Thummim.
