You are to rejoice in your festival, you, your son, your daughter, your male and female slaves, the Levites, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows who are in your villages.

過節的時候、你要歡樂，你跟你兒子和女兒、你的奴僕和使女、以及在你城內的利未人、寄居者、孤兒、寡婦、都要歡樂。

節期之間、爾與子女僕婢、暨居爾邑之利未人、以及賓旅孤寡、俱必喜樂、

爾與子女僕婢、及主爾家之利未人、賓旅孤寡、俱必欣喜懽忭、

守節期之時、爾與子女奴婢、及居於爾邑之利未人、客旅孤寡、俱必歡樂、

Be joyful at your festival— you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.

Be filled with joy at your feast. You, your children, and your male and female servants should be joyful. So should the Levites, the outsiders, and the widows living in your towns. And so should the children whose fathers have died.

You shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your towns.

This festival will be a happy time of celebrating with your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows from your towns.

Rejoice during your festival— you, your son and daughter, your male and female slave, as well as the Levite, the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow within your city gates.

and you shall rejoice in your feast, you, your son and your daughter, and your male and female slaves, and the Levite, the stranger, the orphan, and the widow who are in your towns.

And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant and the Levite, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, who are within your gates.

and thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man- servant, and thy maid- servant, and the Levite, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.

And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that[ are] within thy gates.

Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priestly scribe, and the Levites who were imparting understanding to the people said to all of them,“ This day is holy to the LORD your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people had been weeping when they heard the words of the law.He said to them,“ Go and eat delicacies and drink sweet drinks and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”Then the Levites quieted all the people saying,“ Be quiet, for this day is holy. Do not grieve.”So all the people departed to eat and drink and to share their food with others and to enjoy tremendous joy, for they had gained insight in the matters that had been made known to them.

You shall rejoice before him– you, your son, your daughter, your male and female slaves, the Levites in your villages, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows among you– in the place where the LORD chooses to locate his name.

At that time you will say:“ I praise you, O LORD, for even though you were angry with me, your anger subsided, and you consoled me.Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.”Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance.At that time you will say:“ Praise the LORD! Ask him for help! Publicize his mighty acts among the nations! Make it known that he is unique!Sing to the LORD, for he has done magnificent things, let this be known throughout the earth!Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!”

Always rejoice,

those whom the LORD has ransomed will return that way. They will enter Zion with a happy shout. Unending joy will crown them, happiness and joy will overwhelm them; grief and suffering will disappear.

You shall rejoice in the presence of the LORD your God, along with your sons, daughters, male and female servants, and the Levites in your villages( since they have no allotment or inheritance with you).

The LORD who commands armies will hold a banquet for all the nations on this mountain. At this banquet there will be plenty of meat and aged wine– tender meat and choicest wine.On this mountain he will swallow up the shroud that is over all the peoples, the woven covering that is over all the nations;he will swallow up death permanently. The sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from every face, and remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. Indeed, the LORD has announced it!

You will celebrate all the good things that the LORD your God has given you and your family, along with the Levites and the resident foreigners among you.

You will sing as you do in the evening when you are celebrating a festival. You will be happy like one who plays a flute as he goes to the mountain of the LORD, the Rock who shelters Israel.

Go, eat your food with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, because God has already approved your works.
