因为耶和华你的神必照他所应许你的赐福与你。你必借给许多国民，却不致向他们借贷；你必管辖许多国民，他们却不能管辖你。

耶和華必為爾啟其寶藏、使天降時雨於爾土、於爾凡百所為、錫嘏於爾、爾貸金於列邦、而不告貸於彼、如爾聽從爾上帝耶和華之誡命、我今日所諭爾者、謹守遵行、不偏左右、離我今日所諭之言、不從他神、而崇事之、則耶和華必以爾為首、不以爾為尾、使爾居上、不居於下、○

所羅門轄諸國、自大河至非利士地、延及埃及境、皆納貢服事所羅門、至其畢生、

惡者貸而弗償、義者行仁、而好施兮、

富者握貧人之權、貸者為債主之僕、

故爾付於敵手、而困苦之、窘迫之時、彼呼籲爾、爾則自天垂聽、依爾鴻慈、賜以救者、拯之於敵手、

惟爾當愛爾敵、而善待之、貸於人而不絕望、則爾賞大矣、且爾將為至上者之子、蓋彼施仁於辜恩及不善者矣、

大河之西自提弗薩、延及迦薩列王、皆為所羅門所轄、四周綏安、

義人終日行仁施貸、其裔蒙福兮、

惟昔有權之王、治耶路撒冷、管轄河西四境、其人為之進貢、輸餉納稅、

彼可貸金於爾、爾不貸金於彼、彼為首、爾為尾、

施恩而貸金者、必獲益、在受鞫時、必得直兮、

所羅門統轄諸王、自大河至非利士地、延及埃及界、
