因為耶和華你的神，必照著他應許你的，賜福給你；你必借貸給許多國的民，卻不會向他們借貸；你必統治許多國的民，他們卻不會統治你。

惡人借貸總不償還，義人卻慷慨施捨。

財主管轄窮人，欠債的作債主的奴僕。

所以你把他們交在敵人的手中，好讓他們受困苦；他們受困苦的時候，就向你呼求，你就從天上垂聽，按著你豐盛的憐憫，賜給他們拯救者，拯救他們脫離敵人的手。

你們要愛仇敵，善待他們；借出去，不要指望償還；這樣你們的賞賜就大了，你們也必作至高者的兒子，因為神自己也寬待忘恩的和惡人。

因為所羅門統治大河西邊，從提弗薩直到迦薩的全境和大河西邊的列王，所以他的四境都平安無事。

他常常慷慨借給人；他的後裔必定蒙福。

從前大能的君王統治耶路撒冷，治理河西那邊的全地，接受他們繳稅、進貢和納糧。

他要借給你，你卻不能借給他；他必作頭，你必作尾。

恩待人，借貸給別人，按公正處理自己事務的，這人必享福樂。
