你們的上帝耶和華必照祂的應許賜福給你們，你們必借貸給多國，卻不需要向他們借貸。你們必統治多國，卻不被他們統治。

因为耶和华你的神必照他所应许你的赐福与你。你必借给许多国民，却不致向他们借贷；你必管辖许多国民，他们却不能管辖你。

所羅門統管列國，從幼發拉底河至非利士，直到埃及邊界。所羅門在世的日子，列國都年年進貢稱臣。

惡人借債不還，義人慷慨給予。

富人管轄窮人，欠債的是債主的僕人。

於是你把他們交在欺壓他們的仇敵手中。他們在患難中向你呼求，你就從天上垂聽，懷著豐盛的憐憫賜給他們拯救者，把他們從仇敵手中拯救出來。

「然而，要愛你們的仇敵，善待他們；無論借出什麼，都不要指望歸還。這樣，你們將有大賞賜，並且將成為至高者的兒子，因為祂以恩慈待那些忘恩負義和作惡的人。

所羅門統治幼發拉底河西面所有的國家，從提弗薩直到迦薩，四境安寧。

他們樂善好施，後代都蒙祝福。

強大的君王曾經統管耶路撒冷和幼發拉底河西全境，並向人們徵收貢物和賦稅。

「他們要借貸給你們，你們卻不能借貸給他們。他們要做首，你們要做尾。

慷慨借貸，行事公正的人必亨通。

所羅門統管從幼發拉底河到非利士地區，遠至埃及邊境的諸王。
