此豁免年之例如斯、凡貸金於鄰與兄弟、兄弟或作同國之人下同此年必豁免、毋相逼索債、因是年稱為主之豁免年、

This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite. They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the Lord’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed.

Have you made a loan to one of your own people? Then forgive what is owed to you. You can’t require that person to pay you back. The Lord’ s time to forgive what is owed has been announced.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

This is how it must be done. Everyone must cancel the loans they have made to their fellow Israelites. They must not demand payment from their neighbors or relatives, for the Lord’s time of release has arrived.

This is how to cancel debt: Every creditor is to cancel what he has lent his neighbor. He is not to collect anything from his neighbor or brother, because the LORD’s release of debts has been proclaimed.

And this is the regulation for the release of debts: every creditor is to forgive what he has loaned to his neighbor; he shall not require it of his neighbor and his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the LORD’s release.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release that which he hath lent unto his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Jehovah’s release hath been proclaimed.

如果借給人，又指望向人收回，那有甚麼好處呢？罪人也借給罪人，要如數收回。你們要愛仇敵，善待他們；借出去，不要指望償還；這樣你們的賞賜就大了，你們也必作至高者的兒子，因為神自己也寬待忘恩的和惡人。你們要仁慈像你們的父仁慈一樣。“你們不要判斷人，就必不受判斷；不要定人的罪，就必不被定罪；要饒恕人，就必蒙饒恕；要給人，就必有給你們的；並且要用十足的升斗，連按帶搖，上尖下流地倒在你們懷裡；因為你們用甚麼升斗量給人，就必用甚麼升斗量給你們。”

他們都無力償還，債主就把兩人豁免了。他們之中哪一個更愛他呢？”

因為對不行憐憫的人，審判他們的時候就沒有憐憫；憐憫勝過審判。

踐踏窮乏人又除掉國中困苦人的，你們要聽這話。你們說：“月朔甚麼時候過去，好讓我們可以賣五穀；安息日甚麼時候結束，好讓我們可以開市賣穀物。我們賣東西就把升斗弄小，收銀子卻用加重了的法碼，我們要用假秤欺騙人。我們用銀子買窮人，用一雙鞋換取窮乏人；連麥碎也賣掉。”

我心中籌算一番以後，就譴責貴族和官長，對他們說：“你們各人向自己的同胞貸款，竟然索取高利！”於是我召開大會攻擊他們。我對他們說：“我們已盡了我們的能力，把那些賣了給外族人的同胞猶大人買贖回來，而你們還想要出賣你們的同胞，好讓我們再把他們買回來嗎？”他們都默不作聲，無話可說。我又說：“你們這事作得不對。你們豈不應懷著敬畏我們神的心行事為人，免遭我們的仇敵外族人的毀謗嗎？現在我和我的兄弟，以及我的僕人要把銀錢和五穀借給他們。讓我們大家都放棄放債取利吧！請你們今天就把他們的田地、葡萄園、橄欖園、房屋，以及你們向他們索取的利息：百分之一的利錢、五穀、新酒和新油，都歸還給他們。”

他沒有錢償還，主人就下令叫人把他和他的妻子兒女，以及一切所有的都賣掉，用來償還。那僕人就跪下拜他，說：‘請寬容我，我會把一切還給你的。’主人動了慈心，把那僕人放了，並且免了他的債。那僕人出來，遇見一個欠了他一百個銀幣的僕人，就抓住他，扼著他的喉嚨，說：‘把你欠我的錢還給我。’那和他一同作僕人的就跪下求他，說：‘請寬容我，我會還給你的。’他卻不肯，反而把他帶走，關在監裡，等他把所欠的還清。其他的僕人看見這事，非常難過，就去向主人報告這一切事情。於是主人叫他來，對他說：‘你這個惡僕，你求我，我就免了你欠我的一切。難道你不應該憐憫你的同伴，好像我憐憫你一樣嗎？’於是主人大怒，把他送去服刑，等他把所欠的一切還清。如果你們各人不從心裡饒恕你的弟兄，我的天父也必這樣待你們。”

他們說：“為甚麼我們禁食，你不看呢？為甚麼我們刻苦己身，你不理會呢？”看哪！你們在禁食的日子，仍然追求自己喜歡作的事，欺壓為你們作工的人。

如果你們饒恕別人的過犯，你們的天父也必饒恕你們。如果你們不饒恕別人，你們的父也必不饒恕你們的過犯。

赦免我們的罪債，好像我們饒恕了得罪我們的人；
