此豁免年之例如斯、凡貸金於鄰與兄弟、兄弟或作同國之人下同此年必豁免、毋相逼索債、因是年稱為主之豁免年、

This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite. They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the Lord’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed.

Have you made a loan to one of your own people? Then forgive what is owed to you. You can’t require that person to pay you back. The Lord’ s time to forgive what is owed has been announced.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

This is how it must be done. Everyone must cancel the loans they have made to their fellow Israelites. They must not demand payment from their neighbors or relatives, for the Lord’s time of release has arrived.

This is how to cancel debt: Every creditor is to cancel what he has lent his neighbor. He is not to collect anything from his neighbor or brother, because the LORD’s release of debts has been proclaimed.

And this is the regulation for the release of debts: every creditor is to forgive what he has loaned to his neighbor; he shall not require it of his neighbor and his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the LORD’s release.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release that which he hath lent unto his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Jehovah’s release hath been proclaimed.

二人都没有能力还债，这位债主就免了他们的债务。你想，哪一位会更爱债主呢？”

因为不怜悯人的会受到无情的审判，但怜悯胜过审判。

践踏贫民、灭绝穷人的人啊，你们要听！你们盼望朔日和安息日快点过去，你们好售卖谷物。你们用小升斗卖粮，用加重的砝码收银子，用假秤骗人。你们用银子买贫民，以一双鞋买穷人为奴，售卖掺了糠秕的麦子。

经过深思熟虑后，我便斥责这些贵族和官员，说：“你们竟然向同胞放高利贷！”于是我召开大会处理他们的问题。我对他们说：“我们在尽力赎回那些被卖到外邦的犹太同胞，你们却要卖他们为奴，好让我们再赎回他们吗？”他们都沉默不语，无言以对。我继续说：“你们的所作所为实在不对。难道你们不应该敬畏上帝，以免我们的仇敌凌辱我们吗？我和我的兄弟及仆人都借钱、借粮给民众，现在我们要停止放高利贷。你们今天就要归还他们的田地、葡萄园、橄榄园和房屋，以及你们向他们所收的五谷、新酒和油的利息。”

因为这个人无法清还债款，王就下令把他及其妻儿和所有财产全部卖掉还债。那奴仆跪在王面前乞求说，‘请宽容我，我会把债务全部还清的。’王可怜他，不但释放了他，而且免了他全部的债。“可是，那奴仆出去后，遇见一位欠他一百个银币的同伴，就揪住同伴，掐着他的喉咙说，‘还我钱！’同伴跪下哀求道，‘请宽容我，我会还你的。’“那奴仆却不肯，竟把同伴送进监狱，直到他还清债务为止。其他的奴仆目睹这一切，都愤愤不平，把这件事告诉了王。“于是，王把那奴仆召来，说，‘你这可恶的奴才！你哀求我，我就免了你所有的债。难道你不应该怜悯你的同伴，就像我怜悯你一样吗？’王大怒，下令把他交给狱卒受刑，直到他还清全部的债务。如果你们不从心里饶恕自己的弟兄，我的天父也要这样对待你们。”

他们说，‘我们禁食，你为什么不看呢？我们刻苦己身，你为什么不理睬呢？’我说，‘看啊，禁食之日你们仍然随心所欲，压榨你们的工人。

“如果你们饶恕别人的过犯，你们的天父也必饶恕你们的过犯。如果你们不饶恕别人的过犯，你们的天父也不会饶恕你们的过犯。

饶恕我们的罪，就像我们饶恕了得罪我们的人。
