Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you. That is why I give you this command today.

他為我們的緣故捨己，為了要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心為善。

你們若饒恕人的過犯，你們的天父也必饒恕你們；你們若不饒恕人，你們的天父也必不饒恕你們的過犯。」

基督為我們捨命，我們從此就知道何為愛；我們也當為弟兄捨命。

於是主人叫了他來，對他說：『你這惡奴才！你央求我，我就把你所欠的都免了；你不應該憐憫你的同伴，像我憐憫你嗎？』

我們藉着這愛子的血得蒙救贖，過犯得以赦免，這是照他豐富的恩典，

追求公義、尋求耶和華的人哪，當聽從我！你們要追想自己是從哪塊磐石鑿出，從哪個巖穴挖掘而來；

要仁慈相待，存憐憫的心，彼此饒恕，正如上帝在基督裏饒恕了你們一樣。所以，作為蒙慈愛的兒女，你們該效法上帝。要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當作馨香的供物和祭物獻給上帝。

但第七日是向耶和華－你的上帝當守的安息日。這一日，你和你的兒女、僕婢、牛、驢、牲畜，以及你城裏寄居的客旅，都不可做任何的工，使你的僕婢可以和你一樣休息。你要記念你在埃及地作過奴僕，耶和華－你的上帝用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂領你從那裏出來。因此，耶和華－你的上帝吩咐你守安息日。

要記得那時候，你們與基督無關，與以色列選民團體隔絕，在所應許的約上是局外人，而且在世上沒有指望，沒有上帝。
