爾當追憶昔爾在伊及地為奴、乃主爾之天主救贖爾、故我今日以此諭爾、

天主遣其獨生之子降世、使我儕賴之而生、天主之愛我、在此而顯、非我儕愛天主、乃天主愛我儕、遣其子為我儕作贖罪之祭、愛即在此也、可愛者乎、天主既如此愛我、則我儕亦當相愛、

彼為我儕舍己、以贖我儕出於諸惡、亦潔我儕為其選民、熱心為善、

爾免人過爾在天之父、亦免爾過、爾不免人過、爾父亦不免爾過、○

主為我舍命、則其愛由此可知也、我儕亦當為兄弟舍命、

其僕之主召之曰、惡哉僕乎、爾所負者、我盡免之、因爾求我也、爾不當憐同僚如我憐爾乎、

我儕賴彼、以其流血蒙救贖、得罪赦、循天主豐厚之恩寵、

爾曹從善者、尋求主者、宜聽我言、當追思爾所從鑿之磐、所從掘之石、

當彼此慈愛憐憫、更當相恕、如天主為基督恕爾也、爾為天主所愛之子、當效天主、當以愛而行、如基督愛我儕、為我儕舍身、獻己於天主、為馨香之祭、

第七日為爾天主耶和華之安息日、是日爾與子女奴婢及牛驢諸牲畜、並居爾邑之外邦客旅、無論何工、皆不可作、使爾奴婢安息、與爾無異、當追憶昔爾在伊及為奴、爾天主耶和華以大力大威導爾出、緣此爾天主耶和華命爾守安息日、

當時爾與基督相離、在以色列民中無分、與所應許之諸約無與、無有所望、處世而無天主、
