你也要记得你在埃及作过奴仆；你要谨守遵行这些律例。

“我是耶和华你的神，曾经把你从埃及地，从为奴之家领出来。

神差遣他的独生子到世上来，要使我们藉着他而活；神的爱就在我们中间显明了。不是我们爱神，而是神爱我们，差遣他的儿子为我们的罪作了赎罪祭，这就是爱了。亲爱的，神既然这样爱我们，我们也应当彼此相爱。

他为我们舍己，为的是要救赎我们脱离一切不法的事，并且洁净我们作他自己的子民，热心善工。

如果你们饶恕别人的过犯，你们的天父也必饶恕你们。如果你们不饶恕别人，你们的父也必不饶恕你们的过犯。

主为我们舍命，这样，我们就知道什么是爱；我们也应当为弟兄舍命。

于是主人叫他来，对他说：‘你这个恶仆，你求我，我就免了你欠我的一切。难道你不应该怜悯你的同伴，好像我怜悯你一样吗？’

我们在他爱子里，藉着他的血蒙了救赎，过犯得到赦免，都是按着他丰盛的恩典。

追求公义、寻求耶和华的啊！你们要听我的话。你们要瞻仰那磐石，你们就是从其上凿出来的；你们要瞻仰那采石坑，你们就是从其中挖出来的。

要互相友爱，存温柔的心，彼此饶恕，就像神在基督里饶恕了你们一样。因此，你们既然是蒙爱的儿女，就应当效法神。要凭着爱心行事，好像基督爱我们，为我们舍己，当作馨香的供品和祭物献给神。

但第七日是属于耶和华你神的安息日；这一日，你和你的儿女、仆婢、牛驴和一切牲畜，以及你城里的寄居者，不可作任何的工，好使你的仆婢可以和你一样享受安息。你要记住：你在埃及地作过奴仆；耶和华你的神用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，把你从那里领出来，因此耶和华你的神吩咐你要守安息日。

那时，你们是在基督以外，与以色列国无分，在带有应许的约上是外人，在世上没有盼望，没有神。
