And when you release them, do not send them away empty-handed.

But when you set them free, don’t send them away without anything to show for all their work.

And when you let him go free from you, you shall not let him go empty-handed.

Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

“ Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness And his chambers by injustice, Who uses his neighbor’s service without wages And gives him nothing for his work,

And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed.

For they are My servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as slaves.You shall not rule over him with rigor, but you shall fear your God.And as for your male and female slaves whom you may have— from the nations that are around you, from them you may buy male and female slaves.
