因爾地不免有貧者、故我命爾曰、當開展爾手、周濟爾境內兄弟之困窮貧乏者、○

There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.

There will always be poor people in the land. So I’m commanding you to give freely to those who are poor and needy in your land. Open your hands to them.

For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you,‘ You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.

我们从这一点就知道了爱：基督为我们舍弃了自己的生命，我们也应该为弟兄舍弃生命。但如果有人拥有世界的财产，看见自己的弟兄有需要，却封闭情感，那么，属神的爱怎么能住在他里面呢？孩子们哪，让我们不在语言或口头上相爱，而在行为和真理中相爱，

富人和穷人有一相同之处：他们都是耶和华所造的。

于是那一群信徒都同心合意，没有一个人说他所拥有的哪样东西是自己的；相反，他们凡物共有。使徒们大有能力地为主耶稣的复活做见证，并且在他们每个人身上都有极大的恩典。他们当中没有一个缺乏的人，因为凡是拥有田产或房屋的人，都卖掉了那些东西，把所卖得的钱拿来，放在使徒们的脚前，按照各人的需要分给每个人。

其中有一个名叫阿伽布斯的站起来，藉着圣灵指明普天下将有大饥荒。这事在凯撒克劳迪时期果然发生了。于是门徒们决定，每个人照着自己的能力来捐献，好送到住在犹太的弟兄们那里。他们就这么做了，由巴拿巴和扫罗经手，把所捐献的送到长老们那里。

你们当卖掉自己所拥有的，施舍给人，为自己预备不会破旧的钱包和没有穷尽的财宝在天上；在那里盗贼不能靠近，也没有虫咬蚀。

在患难的极大考验中，他们的喜乐之满和贫穷之深都流露出来，归入他们慷慨之心的财富。因为我可以见证他们是按着自己的能力，甚至超过了自己的能力，甘心乐意，用许多乞求的话，恳请我们在对圣徒的服事上给与他们恩准和分享的机会；他们不但照我们所盼望的，而且照着神的旨意，首先把自己献给了主，又献给了我们。我们于是劝提多，他怎样开始了这恩惠之事，就当照样在你们那里把它完成；而且你们怎样在信仰、言语、知识、殷勤和你们对我们的爱心上都丰足有余，你们也当怎样在这恩惠之事上丰足有余。我说这话不是出于命令，而是要藉着别人的殷勤来考验你们爱的真诚，因为你们知道我们主耶稣基督的恩典：他虽然富足，却为你们成了贫穷，好使你们藉着他的贫穷可以成为富足。

有人求你，你要给他；有人要向你借什么，你不要拒绝。

他们变卖财产和产业，按照各人的需要分给大家。
