There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.

There will always be poor people in the land. So I’m commanding you to give freely to those who are poor and needy in your land. Open your hands to them.

For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you,‘ You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.

你们常常有穷人跟你们在一起，然而却不常有我。

你们常常有穷人跟你们在一起，只要你们愿意，随时都可以向他们行善，然而你们却不常有我。

你一定要向他伸手，照着他缺乏的借给他，补足他的缺乏。

主为我们舍命，这样，我们就知道什么是爱；我们也应当为弟兄舍命。凡有世上财物的，看见弟兄穷乏，却硬着心肠不理，他怎能说他心里有神的爱呢？孩子们，我们爱人，不要只在言语和舌头上，总要在行动和真诚上表现出来。

世上有财主，也有穷人，两者都是耶和华所造的。

全体信徒一心一意，没有一个人说自己的财物是自己的，他们凡物公用。使徒大有能力，为主耶稣的复活作见证，众人都蒙了大恩。他们中间没有一个有缺乏的，因为凡有田产房屋的都卖了，把得到的钱拿来，放在使徒脚前，照着各人的需要来分配。

其中有一个名叫亚迦布的站起来，藉着圣灵指出天下将要有大饥荒；这事在革老丢时期果然发生了。于是门徒决定按着各人的力量捐款，好送给住在犹太的弟兄。他们就这样行了，由巴拿巴和扫罗经手送到长老们那里。

当变卖你们所有的施舍给人，为自己制造不朽坏的钱囊，积蓄用不尽的财宝在天上，就是贼不能近、虫不能蛀的地方。

他们在患难中受到极大的考验的时候，他们满溢的喜乐和极度的贫乏，汇流出丰厚的慷慨来。我可以作证，他们是按着能力，并且是超过了能力，自愿地再三恳求我们，准许他们在供应圣徒的事上有分。他们超过了我们所期望的，照着神的旨意，先把自己献给主，然后献给我们。因此，我们勉励提多，既然开始了这慈善的事，就应当在你们那里把这事办好。你们在一切事上，就如信心、口才、知识、热情和爱我们的心，既然都是富足的，那么，在这慈善的事上，也要显出你们是富足的。我这样说，不是吩咐你们，而是藉着别人的热心来考验你们的爱心是否真实。你们是知道我们的主耶稣基督的恩典的：他本来富足，却为你们成了贫穷，要使你们因他的贫穷成为富足。

有求你的，就给他；想借贷的，也不可拒绝。

并且变卖产业和财物，按照各人的需要分给他们。
