那麼利未人（因為利未人不同你一樣有分有業）、以及在你城內的寄居者和孤兒寡婦、就可以來喫，並且喫得飽足；好使永恆主你的上帝在你手所作的一切事上、賜福與你。

使爾中無分無業之利未人、居於爾邑之外邦客旅及孤寡、皆來取之、食之而飽、則主爾之天主、必賜福於爾在凡所為之事、

so that the Levites( who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Then the Levites can come and eat. That’s because they won’t receive any part of the land as their share. The outsiders and widows who live in your towns can come. So can the children whose fathers have died. Everyone can have plenty to eat. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

And the Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance with you, and the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your towns, shall come and eat and be filled, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

Give it to the Levites, who will receive no allotment of land among you, as well as to the foreigners living among you, the orphans, and the widows in your towns, so they can eat and be satisfied. Then the Lord your God will bless you in all your work.

你總要給他；給他的時候你不要心疼，因為因了這事的緣故永恆主你的上帝總要在你一切工作上、在你下手辦的一切事上、賜福與你。

在你城內的利未人、你不可丟棄他，因為利未人不同你一樣有分有業。

要在永恆主你的上帝面前歡樂，你跟你兒子和女兒、你的奴僕和使女、以及在你城內的利未人、跟在你中間的寄居者和孤兒寡婦、都要在永恆主你的上帝所要選擇做他名之居所的地方歡樂。

恩待窮困的、是借給永恆主；他所行的善事、永恆主必償還。

關心於貧寒人的有福啊；他遭難的日子、永恆主必搭救他。

過節的時候、你要歡樂，你跟你兒子和女兒、你的奴僕和使女、以及在你城內的利未人、寄居者、孤兒、寡婦、都要歡樂。

『你在田地裏收割莊稼、若把一捆遺漏在田間，不可再回去拿；那要給寄居的和孤兒寡婦；好使永恆主你的上帝在你手裏作的一切事上賜福與你。你打橄欖樹以後，枝子不可再查看；那要給寄居的和孤兒寡婦。你割取葡萄園的葡萄以後，所剩下的不可再摘盡了；那要給寄居的和孤兒寡婦。

別忘了樂意款待旅客了。因為曾有人因樂意款待旅客，不知不覺竟款待了天使呢。

你們要在永恆主你們的上帝面前歡樂，你們跟你們的兒子和女兒、你們的奴僕和使女、以及在你們城內的利未人、都要歡樂，因為利未人不同你們一樣有分有業。

耶穌也對那請他的人說：『你辦午飯或晚飯的時候，不要邀請你的朋友、或弟兄、或親戚、或富足的鄰舍；恐怕他們也回請你，報答你。不，你辦迎賓席的時候，要請討飯的、殘廢的、瘸腿的、眼瞎的，你就有福了。因為他們沒有甚麼可報答你；在義人的復活生活中，你就會得着報答了。』

我若將貧寒人所願望的留住不給，或是讓寡婦的眼渴望到失明，或是獨自喫我一點食物，並沒給孤兒和我同喫；（因為從我幼年時上帝也像父親一樣把我養大；自從出我母腹以來、他就領導我）；我若見將要死亡的人赤身無衣，或見貧窮的人毫無遮蓋，他若不由我的羊毛而得暖，而他內心若不向我祝福感恩，我在城門口若見有幫助我的，便動手攻擊孤兒，那我情願、肩頭從缺盆骨上脫落，膀臂從羊矢骨上折斷。

有的人大方地花錢，反而更添財；有的人過度不放手，反致窮乏。

要用你的財物敬奉永恆主，用你一切初熟的出產敬奉上帝；那你的倉房就必充滿有餘，你的酒池也必噴出新酒。

豈不是把你的食物分給饑餓的人，將流浪的貧困人帶到你家中，見赤身裸體的、給他衣服遮身，而不躲藏避開你骨肉之親麼？這樣，你的光就必暴發如破曉，你的新肉就必迅速地生；你的義氣就必在你前頭行進；永恆主的榮光就必做你的後衛了。那時你呼求，永恆主就必應你；你喊救，他就必說：「啊，我在這裏！」『你若從你中間除掉壓制人的軛，除掉手指頭的指罵人和奸惡的講話；你若將你的食物拿出來供應饑餓的人，使困苦的人得到滿足，那你的光就必在黑暗中昇現起來，你的幽暗就必變像中午。永恆主必不斷地引導你，用美物使你的心滿足，使你的骨頭振奮；你必像澆透了的園子，像水之湧出源，總不令人失望。你那些久已頹廢的荒場就必被重建；你必建立起代代拆毁的根基；你必稱為修補城牆破口者，重修毁宅給人居住者。

和你們在一起的寄居者、你們要看為你們中間的本地人一樣；要愛他像你自己，因為你們在埃及地也做過寄居者；我永恆主是你們的上帝。

還有一點：『小量撒種的、也必小量收成；大量撒種的、也必大量收成。』各人要照心裏所酌定的，不要心疼，不要勉強：因為上帝愛歡心樂意的捐獻者。上帝能使各樣的恩惠充盈滿溢地流到你們身上來，使你們凡事常有十分的充足，能夠溢流出各樣慈善的事來。正如經上所記：『他分散財物、給予貧窮；他的仁義永遠長存。』那給撒種的供應種子、又供應餅做食品、必供給並加多你們慈善的種子，使你們仁義的產物增長着；使你們凡事富足，能有十分慷慨的施與。這樣的施與便藉着我們使眾人對上帝生出感謝的心來。

『每第三年、就是十分之一奉獻的年、你獻完了你的土產的十分之一，給了利未人、寄居者、和孤兒寡婦，讓他們在你城內喫得飽足，你就要在永恆主你的上帝面前說：「我已經把聖物從家裏肅清了，我並且給了利未人、寄居者、和孤兒寡婦，都照你所吩咐我的一切誡命；你的誡命我都沒有越犯過，也沒有忘記掉。

在父上帝看來、看望孤兒寡婦在苦難中、並且保守自己不受世俗的玷污：這就是潔淨而不染污的宗教了。

其實你們只要把裏邊的施捨給人，那麼一切對你們就都潔淨了。

『不可欺負寄居的，不可壓迫他，因為你們在埃及地也做過寄居的。不可苦待任何寡婦或孤兒。如果真地苦待他們，他們一向我哀叫，我總要聽他們的哀叫；並且要發怒，用刀殺你們，使你們的妻子成為寡婦，你們的兒女成為孤兒。

不，你們要愛你們的仇敵，善待他們；要借給他們，絕不期望甚麼。那麼你們的賞報就大了，你們就做了至高者的兒子了；因為他待忘恩負義和邪惡的人都有慈惠。

你們將當納的十分之一全部送入倉庫，使我殿中有糧吧！並這樣試試我、萬軍之永恆主說，看我會不會給你們敞開天閘，將祝福給你們傾倒下來，直到有餘無缺。萬軍之永恆主說：我必為你們叱責吞喫者蝗蟲，不容牠損壞你們土地的果實；你們田間的葡萄樹未熟之先也不掉果子。
