so that the Levites( who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Then the Levites can come and eat. That’s because they won’t receive any part of the land as their share. The outsiders and widows who live in your towns can come. So can the children whose fathers have died. Everyone can have plenty to eat. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

And the Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance with you, and the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your towns, shall come and eat and be filled, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

Give it to the Levites, who will receive no allotment of land among you, as well as to the foreigners living among you, the orphans, and the widows in your towns, so they can eat and be satisfied. Then the Lord your God will bless you in all your work.

Then the Levite, who has no portion or inheritance among you, the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow within your city gates may come, eat, and be satisfied. And the LORD your God will bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

人恩待貧弱者，就是借予耶和華；耶和華將照著他所行的償還給他。

眷顧貧弱者的，是蒙福的！在災禍的日子裡，耶和華必搭救他。

不要忘記款待客旅，因為曾經有些人這樣做，在無意中就招待了天使。

耶穌又對邀請他的人說：「你預備午餐或晚餐的時候，不要叫你的朋友、兄弟、親戚或富有的鄰居，免得他們也回請你，你就得了你的回報了。相反，你預備宴席的時候，要邀請那些貧窮的、殘疾的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，這樣你就蒙福了，因為他們沒有可回報你的，而在義人復活的時候，你將得到回報。」

有人慷慨好施，反增添更多；有人該給不給，卻導致缺乏。

你當以你的財物，以一切初熟的收成，榮耀耶和華；這樣，你的倉庫必充滿，豐豐足足，你的榨酒池也必溢出新酒。

把你的糧食分給飢餓的人，把流浪的困苦人接到家中，見到赤身的人就給他衣服穿，不迴避有需要的骨肉之親。如果你這樣做，你的光就必噴薄而出，如同黎明的光；你也必速速康復；你的公義必行在你前面，耶和華的榮耀必作你的後盾；那時你呼求，耶和華必回應；你呼救，他必說：『我在這裡。』如果你除去你當中的軛，除去對人的指摘和惡毒的言談；如果你為飢餓的人獻上身心，使困苦的人身心滿足；那麼，你的光就必在黑暗中升起，你的幽暗必明如正午；耶和華必一直引導你，在乾旱之地使你身心滿足，又使你的骨頭強壯；你必像灌溉充足的園子，又像水流不絕的泉源。從你而出的人中，必有人重建古時的廢墟之處；你必重立世世代代的根基；你必被稱為『破口的修補者』、『住人街道的修復者』。

又有這話：播撒吝嗇的人，也收穫吝嗇；播撒祝福的人，也收穫祝福。每個人要照著心裡預先定好的，不要為難，也不要勉強，因為神喜愛那樂意給與的人。神能使一切的恩典豐豐富富地臨到你們，使你們總是在一切事上都能知足，在一切美善的工作上充實滿溢。正如經上所記：「他施捨，賜予窮人；他的義行永遠常存。」供應種子給撒種的，又供應糧食給人吃的那一位，將要供給並增加你們的種子，而且增多你們義行的果子，使你們在一切事上都得以富足，以致十分慷慨，就藉著我們生出對神的感謝之心。

在父神看來，純潔而沒有玷汙的虔誠是這樣的：照顧患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且保守自己不受世界的玷汙。

不過你們當把裡面的施捨給人，看哪，對你們來說一切就都潔淨了。

不過你們要愛你們的敵人，要善待人；借出去，不指望任何償還。這樣，你們的報償就大了，而且你們將成為至高者的兒女，因為他以仁慈待那些忘恩負義和邪惡的人。

萬軍之耶和華說：「你們要把當納的十分之一全都帶進庫房，好使我的家中有糧食；藉此試驗我是否會為你們打開天上的窗戶，把祝福傾倒在你們身上，直到你們充足滿溢。」萬軍之耶和華說：「我必為你們斥責吞噬者，使牠不毀掉你們土地的出產，也不使你們田地中的葡萄樹掉落果實。
