該被毁滅歸神之物、一點都不可粘着你的手，好使永恆主回心轉意、不向你發烈怒，反而向你施憐憫；既憐憫你，就使你人數增多，照他向你列祖所起誓應許過的；

and none of the condemned things are to be found in your hands. Then the Lord will turn from his fierce anger, will show you mercy, and will have compassion on you. He will increase your numbers, as he promised on oath to your ancestors—

Don’t keep anything that should be destroyed. Then the Lord will turn away from his great anger. He will show you mercy. He’ll have deep concern for you. He’ll cause there to be many of you. That’s what he promised your people of long ago. He gave his word when he made the promise.

None of the devoted things shall stick to your hand, that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger and show you mercy and have compassion on you and multiply you, as he swore to your fathers,

Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the Lord will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a large nation, just as he swore to your ancestors.

Nothing set apart for destruction is to remain in your hand, so that the LORD will turn from his burning anger and grant you mercy, show you compassion, and multiply you as he swore to your ancestors.

Nothing at all from what is designated for destruction is to cling to your hand, in order that the Lord may turn from His burning anger and show mercy to you, and have compassion on you and make you increase, just as He has sworn to your fathers,

So none of the accursed things shall remain in your hand, that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of His anger and show you mercy, have compassion on you and multiply you, just as He swore to your fathers,

這樣，眾人就在亞干身上立起一大堆石頭；那堆石頭到今日還在；於是永恆主就回心轉意、不發烈怒。因此那地方到今日還叫亞割山谷。

可憎惡的東西你不可帶進家裏，以免使你成了該被毁滅歸神的、像那東西一樣；你要絕對憎它，非常厭惡它，因為那是該被毁滅歸神的。

那麼永恆主你的上帝就必使你恢復故業，就必憐憫你，將你從永恆主你的上帝分散你到的萬族之民中再招集回來。

你的後裔必像地上的塵沙那麼多；你必向西向東向北向南突破疆界；地上萬宗族必用你的名和你後裔的名給自己祝福。

不過你們、可要謹慎，不可取該被毁滅歸神之物，恐怕你們既把它定為該被毁滅歸神，又取了該被毁滅歸神之物，就使以色列營成為該被毁滅歸神，而搞壞它了。

然而他、卻有憐憫；他赦除人的罪孽，而不除滅人；並且屢次使怒氣轉消，不激起一切烈怒。

我必給他們立個平安興隆之約，這必做永遠之約、跟他們立的；我必施恩眷顧他們，使他們人數增多，又在他們中間施恩設立我的聖所到永遠。

因為主雖使人受苦，還要照他豐盛的堅愛施憐憫。

從前謝拉的曾孫亞干豈不是在該被毁滅歸神之物上不忠實，以致有上帝的震怒臨到以色列全會眾麼？那人在他的罪愆中死亡，還不只是他一人而已呢。」』

對摩西說：『你把人民所有的首領拘拿、當着永恆主面前、就在日光之下正法示眾，讓永恆主的烈怒得以轉消、不向以色列人發作。』

但是以色列人在該被毁滅歸神之物上犯了不忠實的罪；猶大支派中謝拉的曾孫、撒底的孫子、迦米的兒子亞干、取了該被毁滅歸神之物，永恆主就向以色列人發怒。

『永恆主發神諭說：我指着自己來起誓，你既作了這事，不留下你兒子、你獨生的兒子，我就必定大大地賜福與你，必定使你的後裔大大增多，如同天上的星，如同海邊的沙；你的後裔必佔領仇敵的城。

他必愛你，賜福與你，使你人數增多；也必在他向你列祖起誓應許你的土地賜福與你腹中的果子、你土地上的果子、和你的五穀、新酒、和油、你幼小的牛和肥嫩的羊。

愛我守我誡命的、我必堅心愛他們、直到千代。

『惟獨各樣的永獻物、就是人從他所有的永獻與永恆主、無論是人、是牲口、或是承受為產業的田地、都不可賣，也不可贖回；各樣的永獻物都是至聖、屬於永恆主的。凡永獻者就是從人之中永獻與上帝的、都不能被替贖；他必須被處死。

若有人不愛主，就讓他被革除！主啊，來吧！

那時約書亞將起誓作警告說：『凡起來重建這城、這耶利哥的、那人必在永恆主面前受咒詛：他立根基時必喪長子；他安門時必喪幼子。』
