昔爾居埃及、其土之風俗、爾勿從、今我導汝至迦南、其人之作為、爾勿效、亦勿守其禮儀。

毋從俗以行惡、有訟立證、毋狥眾以反正。

昔上帝與列祖立約、斯民背之、棄其所命、違其禮儀、崇事虛無、亦為放誕、四周之異邦人、耶和華曾命、勿效其尤、彼不聽從、反崇信焉、棄其上帝耶和華之命、鑄二金犢、樹立木偶、崇拜天象、奉事巴力、焚獻子女、專用卜筮、維惡是務、干耶和華震怒。

惟爾不可如是以事爾上帝耶和華。

使爾不犯淫行、不復戀亞述人、不再蹈埃及前愆、

爾曹至爾上帝耶和華所錫之地、彼民所為可惡之事、爾勿則效。凡焚獻子女、及卜筮術數、占師巫覡、或左道、或崇憑於卜神者、或為巫覡、或用術而招魂者、俱勿留於四境之內、

爾之得土、非為爾正心行義、乃為斯民行惡、爾之上帝耶和華、驅之於爾前、以踐其所誓爾祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之言。

故爾曹不論宗族賓旅、當守我法度禮儀、毋蹈此愆。昔斯土之人、專務行此、使地染污、如爾效之、地必不容爾、與彼相同。凡蹈此愆、絕之民中、爾當守我法度、彼之所行、事多可憎、玷及其身、爾毋則傚、我耶和華爾之上帝所命如此。

昔異邦人行可惡之事、耶和華使以色列族逐之、馬拿西行惡於耶和華前、而效其尤。

眾祭司長與兆民、效尤異邦、多蹈罪愆、在耶路撒冷、耶和華之殿、業已肅清、復污衊之、

抑耶和華將以牡綿羊數千為悅、或以萬溪流油為悅、我當以初產之嬰孩、贖我愆尤、抑以親生之骨肉、贖我邪念乎。

勿焚爾子女、以享摩洛、瀆爾上帝之名、為我耶和華所禁。

告以色列族、凡爾族中、爰及賓旅、獻子女以享摩洛者、殺無赦、民以石擊之。

昔異邦人行可惡之事、耶和華逐之於以色列族中、馬拿西效其尤、作惡於耶和華前。

以色列族乎、爾獻子女、焚之以火、崇事偶像、自沾污衊、今日乃來問我、我耶和華、指己而誓、不許爾與我言。
