你不可喫血，好使你和你以後的子孫都因你行永恆主所看為對的事、而平安順遂。

將來你若聽我所吩咐你的，走我的路，行我所看為對的事，謹守我的律例誡命，像我僕人大衛所行的，那麼我就與你同在，為你建立堅固的王室，像我為大衛建立的一樣，將以色列賜給你。

說：『你若留心聽永恆主你的上帝的聲音，行他眼中看為對的事，側耳聽他的誡命，守他一切的律例，那麼我加在埃及人身上的一切疾病、我就不加在你身上，因為我永恆主乃是醫治你的。』

所以你要遵守我今日所吩咐你的律例誡命，使你和你以後的子孫平安順遂，並使你在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的土地延年益壽。』

如果你聽永恆主你的上帝的聲音，遵守他一切的誡命、就是我今日所吩咐你的，行永恆主你的上帝所看為對的事，就能如此。

永恆主所看為對為好的事、你都要遵行，好使你平安順遂，可以進去、取得永恆主向你列祖起誓應許的美地，

他的後裔在地上必強盛；正直人的後代必蒙祝福。

哦，巴不得你素來都留心聽我的命令哦！那麼你的興隆就會像不乾涸的江河，你的勝利就會像海裏的波浪，你的後裔就會多如海沙，你腹中出的子孫就會多如沙粒；你們的名在我面前就不被剪除，不被消滅了。』

你要謹守、聽從我所吩咐你的這一切話，好使你和你以後的子孫都因你行永恆主你的上帝所看為好為對的事、而代代平安順遂。

『「要孝敬你的父親和母親，照永恆主你的上帝所吩咐你的，使你得享長壽，並使你在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的土地、平安順遂。

誰使上帝喜悅，上帝就給誰智慧、知識、和喜樂；惟有罪人、上帝卻給他勞苦，叫他將所收聚所積蓄的歸給那使上帝所喜悅的人：這也是虛空，也是捕風。

因此呢、你要對他們說；主永恆主這麼說：你們喫帶血之物，舉目瞻仰你們的偶像，並且殺人流人的血，你們還能擁有這地以為業麼？
