我今日將他的律例誡命曉諭你，你要遵守，使你和你的子孫可以得福，並使你的日子在耶和華－你神所賜的地上得以長久。」

耶和華眼中看為正、看為善的，你都要遵行，使你可以享福，並可以進去得耶和華向你列祖起誓應許的那美地，

他的後裔在世必強盛；正直人的後代必要蒙福。

甚願你素來聽從我的命令！你的平安就如河水；你的公義就如海浪。你的後裔也必多如海沙；你腹中所生的也必多如沙粒。他的名在我面前必不剪除，也不滅絕。

你要謹守聽從我所吩咐的一切話，行耶和華－你神眼中看為善，看為正的事。這樣，你和你的子孫就可以永遠享福。」

「『當照耶和華－你神所吩咐的孝敬父母，使你得福，並使你的日子在耶和華－你神所賜你的地上得以長久。

神喜悅誰，就給誰智慧、知識，和喜樂；惟有罪人，神使他勞苦，叫他將所收聚的、所堆積的歸給神所喜悅的人。這也是虛空，也是捕風。

所以你要對他們說，主耶和華如此說：你們吃帶血的物，仰望偶像，並且殺人流血，你們還能得這地為業嗎？
