你們要做耶和華視為正的事——不可吃血，以便你們及子孫凡事順利。

說：「你們若留心聽你們上帝耶和華的話，做我視為正的事，遵守我所定下的律例，我就不把降在埃及的疾病加在你們身上，因為我耶和華是醫治你們的上帝。」

我今天將祂的律例和誡命傳授給你們，你們要遵守，以便你們及子孫都蒙福，在你們上帝耶和華所賜的土地上得享長壽。」

你們要做耶和華視為正與善的事，以便你們可以凡事順利，得到耶和華起誓賜給你們祖先的佳美之地，

他的子孫在世上必興盛，正直人的後代必蒙福。

真希望你當時肯聽我的命令！那樣，你的平安必像滾滾河水，你的公義必如滔滔海浪；你的後裔必多如海沙，你的子孫必像細沙一樣不可勝數，他們的名號絕不會從我面前被剷除、被消滅。」

你們要認真聽從我給你們的這些吩咐，做你們的上帝耶和華視為正與善的事，以便你們及子孫凡事順利，直到永遠。

「『要遵照你的上帝耶和華的吩咐孝敬父母，以便在你的上帝耶和華要賜給你的土地上享長壽，蒙祝福。

上帝把智慧、知識和喜樂賜給祂喜悅的人，卻讓罪人忙於積攢財富，然後把他們的財富賜給祂喜悅的人。這也是虛空，也是捕風。

但你要告訴他們，主耶和華這樣說，『你們吃帶血的肉，仰賴偶像，又殺人流血，怎能擁有這片土地呢？
