then the LORD your God will choose the place to have his name dwell. Bring there everything I command you: your burnt offerings, sacrifices, offerings of the tenth, personal contributions, and all your choice offerings you vow to the LORD.

Then to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name— there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the Lord.

The Lord your God will choose a special place. He will put his Name there. That’s where you must bring everything I command you to bring. That includes your burnt offerings and sacrifices. It includes your special gifts and a tenth of everything you produce. It also includes all the things of value that you promised to give to the Lord.

then to the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell there, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution that you present, and all your finest vow offerings that you vow to the Lord.

you must bring everything I command you— your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, your sacred offerings, and your offerings to fulfill a vow— to the designated place of worship, the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored.

then it shall come about that the place in which the Lord your God will choose for His name to dwell, there you shall bring everything that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution of your hand, and all your choice vowed offerings which you will vow to the Lord.

Instead, turn to the place the LORD your God chooses from all your tribes to put his name for his dwelling and go there.

Each year you and your family are to eat it before the LORD your God in the place the LORD chooses.

Sacrifice to the LORD your God a Passover animal from the herd or flock in the place where the LORD chooses to have his name dwell.Do not eat leavened bread with it. For seven days you are to eat unleavened bread with it, the bread of hardship— because you left the land of Egypt in a hurry— so that you may remember for the rest of your life the day you left the land of Egypt.No yeast is to be found anywhere in your territory for seven days, and none of the meat you sacrifice in the evening of the first day is to remain until morning.You are not to sacrifice the Passover animal in any of the towns the LORD your God is giving you.Sacrifice the Passover animal only at the place where the LORD your God chooses to have his name dwell. Do this in the evening as the sun sets at the same time of day you departed from Egypt.You are to cook and eat it in the place the LORD your God chooses, and you are to return to your tents in the morning.Eat unleavened bread for six days. On the seventh day there is to be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God; do not do any work.

“ If a case is too difficult for you— concerning bloodshed, lawsuits, or assaults— cases disputed at your city gates, then go up to the place the LORD your God chooses.

When a Levite leaves one of your towns in Israel where he was staying and wants to go to the place the LORD chooses,

You are to eat a tenth of your grain, new wine, and fresh oil, and the firstborn of your herd and flock, in the presence of the LORD your God at the place where he chooses to have his name dwell, so that you will always learn to fear the LORD your God.

He chose instead the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loved.

The entire Israelite community assembled at Shiloh and set up the tent of meeting there. The land had been subdued before them,

I have indeed built an exalted temple for you, a place for your dwelling forever.

If the place where the LORD your God chooses to put his name is too far from you, you may slaughter any of your herd or flock he has given you, as I have commanded you, and you may eat it within your city gates whenever you want.

“ But you are to take the holy offerings you have and your vow offerings and go to the place the LORD chooses.

You must offer your burnt offerings only in the place the LORD chooses in one of your tribes, and there you must do everything I command you.

so that your eyes may watch over this temple night and day, toward the place where you said,“ My name will be there,” and so that you may hear the prayer that your servant prays toward this place.

You are to eat them in the presence of the LORD your God at the place the LORD your God chooses— you, your son and daughter, your male and female slave, and the Levite who is within your city gates. Rejoice before the LORD your God in everything you do,

Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem.”Jesus told her,“ Believe me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.You Samaritans worship what you do not know. We worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews.But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him.

when all Israel assembles in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he chooses, you are to read this law aloud before all Israel.

Let him live among you wherever he wants within your city gates. Do not mistreat him.

“‘ But return to my place that was at Shiloh, where I made my name dwell at first. See what I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel.

take some of the first of all the land’s produce that you harvest from the land the LORD your God is giving you and put it in a basket. Then go to the place where the LORD your God chooses to have his name dwell.
