and so that you may live long in the land the Lord swore to your ancestors to give to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

You will live there for a long time. It’s the land the Lord promised to give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their children after them. He gave his word when he made that promise. The land has plenty of milk and honey.

The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; But the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thy heart, dost thou go in to possess their land; but for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may establish the word which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

that thou mightest fear Jehovah thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Honor thy father and thy mother, as Jehovah thy God commanded thee; that thy days may be long, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.

Length of days is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor.

And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of Jehovah; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers,

What man is he that desireth life, And loveth many days, that he may see good?Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking guile.Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are open unto their cry.The face of Jehovah is against them that do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.The righteous cried, and Jehovah heard, And delivered them out of all their troubles.Jehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, And saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But Jehovah delivereth him out of them all.He keepeth all his bones: Not one of them is broken.Evil shall slay the wicked; And they that hate the righteous shall be condemned.Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; And none of them that take refuge in him shall be condemned.

For length of days, and years of life, And peace, will they add to thee.

For by me thy days shall be multiplied, And the years of thy life shall be increased.
