what he did to the Egyptian army, to its horses and chariots, how he overwhelmed them with the waters of the Red Sea as they were pursuing you, and how the Lord brought lasting ruin on them.

They weren’t there when the Lord destroyed the army of Egypt and its horses and chariots. He swept the waters of the Red Sea over the Egyptians while they were chasing you. He wiped them out forever.

and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and to their chariots, how he made the water of the Red Sea flow over them as they pursued after you, and how the Lord has destroyed them to this day,

They didn’t see what the Lord did to the armies of Egypt and to their horses and chariots— how he drowned them in the Red Sea as they were chasing you. He destroyed them, and they have not recovered to this very day!

and what He did to Egypt’s army, to its horses and its chariots, when He made the water of the Red Sea engulf them while they were pursuing you, and the Lord completely eliminated them;

水淹沒了他們的敵人，一個也沒有存留。

仇敵說：「我要追趕，我要趕上；我要分擄物；我要拿住他們，來滿足心願。我要拔出刀來，親手趕滅他們。」但你一吹氣，海就淹沒他們，他們就像鉛沉沒於壯闊水中。

因為法老的馬匹、連他的車輛馬兵、進海中去的時候，永恆主使海水回流到他們身上，而以色列人卻在海中走乾地。

因着信、以色列人過蘆葦海，像過旱地；埃及人一試，就被吞滅了。

他將法老的車輛和軍兵扔於海中；法老特選的軍官都沉於蘆葦海。

埃及人直追趕着：法老所有的馬匹和車輛馬兵、都跟着以色列人下海中去。晨更時候，永恆主在火柱雲柱中往下眺望埃及人的營，就使埃及人的營潰亂了。又纏住他們的車輪，使車行走重難，以致埃及人說：『我們從以色列人面前逃跑吧；因為永恆主為他們爭戰、攻打埃及人了。』永恆主對摩西說：『你向海伸手，叫水回到埃及人身上、到他們的車輛和馬兵身上。』摩西就向海伸手；天快亮時候，海水回到原流的分量；埃及人逆流逃跑，永恆主把埃及人都抖在海中。水一回流，淹沒了車輛和馬兵、以及法老的全軍，那些跟着以色列人下海裏去的，連一個也沒有剩下。以色列人卻在海中走乾地；水在他們左右兩邊就像牆一樣。當那日、永恆主拯救了以色列人脫離埃及人的手；以色列人看見埃及人都死在海邊。以色列人看見永恆主向埃及人所顯大能的手，其眾民就敬畏永恆主，信服永恆主和他的僕人摩西。
