You are about to cross the Jordan to enter and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you. When you have taken it over and are living there,

You are about to go across the Jordan River. You will enter the land and take it over. The Lord your God is giving it to you. You will take it over and live there.

For you are to cross over the Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the Lord your God is giving you. And when you possess it and live in it,

For you are about to cross the Jordan River to take over the land the Lord your God is giving you. When you take that land and are living in it,

「你們要走遍營中，吩咐百姓說：『當預備食物，因為三日之內你們要過這約旦河，進去得耶和華－你們上帝賜給你們為業之地。』」

「以色列啊，你要聽！你今日要過約旦河，進去佔領比你更強大的列國，那裏的城鎮又大，城牆又堅固，如天一樣高。

當抬耶和華全地之主約櫃的祭司，腳掌踏入約旦河水裏的時候，約旦河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然中斷，豎立成壘。」百姓起行離開帳棚過約旦河的時候，抬約櫃的祭司在百姓的前面。那時正是收割的日子，約旦河的水漲滿兩岸。抬約櫃的人到了約旦河，抬約櫃的祭司腳一入水邊，那從上往下流的水就在很遠的地方，在撒拉但旁邊的亞當城那裏停住，豎立成壘；那往亞拉巴海，就是鹽海下流的水全然中斷。於是，百姓在耶利哥的對面過了河。抬耶和華約櫃的祭司在約旦河中的乾地上穩穩站着，以色列眾人都從乾地上過去，直到全國都過了約旦河。
