You are about to cross the Jordan to enter and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you. When you have taken it over and are living there,

You are about to go across the Jordan River. You will enter the land and take it over. The Lord your God is giving it to you. You will take it over and live there.

For you are to cross over the Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the Lord your God is giving you. And when you possess it and live in it,

For you are about to cross the Jordan River to take over the land the Lord your God is giving you. When you take that land and are living in it,

「你們要走遍營中，吩咐百姓說：『當預備食物；因為三日之內你們要過這約旦河，進去得耶和華－你們神賜你們為業之地。』」

「以色列啊，你當聽！你今日要過約旦河，進去趕出比你強大的國民，得着廣大堅固、高得頂天的城邑。

等到擡普天下主耶和華約櫃的祭司把腳站在約旦河水裏，約旦河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然斷絕，立起成壘。」百姓離開帳棚要過約旦河的時候，擡約櫃的祭司乃在百姓的前頭。他們到了約旦河，腳一入水（原來約旦河水在收割的日子漲過兩岸），那從上往下流的水便在極遠之地、撒拉但旁的亞當城那裏停住，立起成壘；那往亞拉巴的海，就是鹽海，下流的水全然斷絕。於是百姓在耶利哥的對面過去了。擡耶和華約櫃的祭司在約旦河中的乾地上站定，以色列眾人都從乾地上過去，直到國民盡都過了約旦河。
